I started watching your channel about 2 years ago, maybe even longer. MY HAIR IS TOTALLY GORGEOUS, long (to my butt) and HEALTHY ! and it's all thanks to you. Thank you, Chris, you are a life saver.
@@skulltaylor1616 I followed every one of Chris's advice. Started using professional shampoo & condorioner (Morroconoil), hair oil, dry shampoo because I work out, washing my hair every 5-7 days (built to that gradually over time), I use hair masks now and brush my hair with a good, anti static brush. All my products are from Morroconoil, I always lived the smell of their products and I now have a ton of them at home, they are my go to. Just look through his channel and you'll learn so much ! I used to dye my hair for almost 10 years (!!) Usually using bleach.. and I recovered it completely to the point that hairdressers stop me on the street to appreciate the appearance of my hair. You can do it ! Just follow all of Chris's advice and you're golden.
Same!! I used to have long hair (to thigh), but my hair used to be frizzy and dry. In 2021, I started following his tips and now, my hair is silky soft !❤❤❤
I have just finished all of the videos posted on this channel. At this point, i could own a master's degree because thats how much this channel taught me.
Please do one for fine hair in a very wet climate. My hair looks good inside the home until im 2min outside and even with an umbrella my hair gets a messy frizz in no time
I do not laugh easily but the two of you have the best sense of humor. I was actually chuckling audibly. Love the info. Love the jokes. Best hair channel I could ever hope for.
I had frizzy hair that never behaved the way I wanted it to. Now I have hair that gets commitments and it's all thanks to you. ❤❤❤❤ Thank you so much for doing what you do.

Since i was a teenager, i've kept my hair really short because i was never taught how to properly care for my thin, yet full, curly and wavy hair. I can't believe how overly complicated everyone makes it when it really is stripped down to only a few efficient steps. It's been a while since I started following your channel and got the recommended product list, maybe about two years now? But my hair is now down passed my shoulders, the longest it's been since I was only 8 years old and I'm in my mid 30's. The "ah-ha" for me really was keeping my ends healthy. it's a game changer! thank you and Leslie for educating us with fun and humor 😂😂😊😊
Thank you for the demonstrations. I have long hair, so I would love to see Leslie demonstrate using leave in conditioner, heat protectant and a blow drying brush. Your shampoo and conditioner are fantastic!
Just found you on RUclips about a month ago. Have been using some of the products you recommend. Not only are these videos entertaining, to the point and super helpful but my hair thanks you. It is still a work in progress. Still trying to figure out how to not wash my hair for several days with a short/pixie cut. A video about short hair would be great. Best thing you have helped me with is how much product I use in my hair. Finding less is best and my hair looks better, thank you.
My hair improved so much after following your advices for my hair type. Would be cool if you can do in the future a video about the correct way to use a diffuser for the blowout. After using the product you recommend (and after I discovered that I have coarse wavy hair) my hair started looking healthy and gorgeous (even my hairdresser was impressed!), but I still struggle to get my waves on the back of my head with the diffuser, so I hope to see a tutorial one day! :)
I recommend misting them with a little water and putting them in a hair roller while you get ready or something so they have time to dry and set and then add hair oil or hairspray on top. Try and see if that works 😇
I cut off my bleached to shit hair last march and started following your advice. I have almost 4 inches of new growth, almost no split ends, and my hair is shiny and looks so healthy. Also if anyone’s conflicted about buying his shampoo and conditioner, JUST DO IT. It’s smells phenomenal and makes my hair feel amazing.
So glad I have your shampoo and conditioner because I can go 6 days between washing without having to use dry shampoo. Your brush is amazing to! I have a wet brush I use after using my post wash products... yours is used before products are applied. But don't worry I still wash all on them once a week.
Could you make a video about how to grow extremely fine thin hair? I have used your other tips which were really helpful, but I just cannot seem to grow it past a certain length despite being able to grow it longer than I could before. I just think it needs extra care but I don't know exactly what. This would be so amazing thank you!!
Do you use box dyes?? And do you get regular trims? Both of these stop me from having my long hair. I stopped dying my own hair and go to the salon, and they actually use a more natural plant-based dye and I rarely get trims and a good quality shampoo and conditioner makes a huge difference, I have a baby fine hair too…… my hair is now long, past my bra strap.
Dude, you are a freaking genius! I used your method on my daughter who has 3c/4a type hair not even using the good products you recommend but the ones I got for her specific 'hair type' and guess what .. it WORKS! 😱🤩 So yeah, it's not about the type of hair you have, but about the method. I can't wait to see the results when I do get your recommended products. So much money saved cause now her and I, who have 2b/c type hair can use the same products. Same same but different 😂 THE GAME CHANGER - LEAVE IN CONDITIONER ... Thanks so much for what you do!
I have shoulder- length, very thick & naturally curly hair. I call it Rosanna Rosanna Danna Hair (SNL character), but it is not quite at that level of tightness. 😁 Bought your brush a few weeks ago. Best brush I have ever had. Also bought the Purology Color Fanatic leave in conditioner from one of your video info links and my hair is amazing, already. Per your advice, I shampoo ears up and conditioner ears down then brush the leave in conditioner thru from tips up, while wet & after shower, and WOW. I can’t thank you enough for helping us progress our hair care education out of the 80s into the NOW. 🏆 Thanks, Genius!
Sometimes I don’t appreciate my understanding of hair even as a trained stylist. Our hair standards are the same and I’m so proud to be in your company 🙏🏻
Yes!❤ I am an Asian mom who would either have color pink, blue or blonde hair. It’s my routine on a day when my hair feels dry and less lively. I work out 5x out of 7 days a week with fine + natural wavy hair. This routine helps a lot and brings the bounce and liveliness of my hair since I only wash my hair and do heat related tools once a week. Few of my anti-dry shampoo users lady friends thought it or I was a joke, but not my loss. My stylist loves it each time I return to visit her for 8wks color tone maintenance. She always compliments how healthy my hair is. A must do holy grail routine when needed specially like FL 😂
Your advice and product recommendations have really helped my hair! Any tips for dealing with postpartum hair loss and regrowth? My hair is coming out in clumps, it’s normal, but hard to deal with. Love from Canada.
Found your channel last month, subbed, started doing your trinity system and my hair is transformed. Was super dry with lots of shedding and breakage. Now, in 1 month’s time, it is super soft, shining, sheds less, and seems to look longer (didn’t think to do a before measure). Thank you for saving my hair!
I love how much I learned from your videos. The hairline oil on the ends of my hair and the leave in conditioner has been life changing for me. My hair is so nice and shiny because of that. One thing is I did buy the shampoo you recommended but I live in Utah and we have very dry climate as compared to Florida where it’s humid so my scalp is now all flaky and dry… help! I invested on good shampoo for the first time and I don’t want to throw it away but my scalp is so dry because of it
Thank you for this video. I wash my hair every 2 days, cut down from every day. I have fine red hair with natural wave. My hair has thinned since I have gotten older (late 60's now, profile picture 2 years old). I did not know how to use dry shampoo and I use heat on my hair at least 4 times a week. I miss how much thicker and stronger my hair used to be. I will try what you have said and hopefully my hair will get healthier. Thanks again! 😊 I'm editing this because after submitting my comment, I looked to see what the recommended products would be for my fine hair. I'm retired and those prices are WAY too high for me. Aren't there any products you could recommend that are less pricey? I know the shampoos would last longer than what I use, but that would not allow me to add any of the other videos. Thank you for your time,
Dear Chris, Lesley and Team, Love the channel and the fantastic tips! 1. Shampoo scalp/roots twice 2. Condition mids and ends 3. Use a leave in conditioner (love Pureology!) 4. Blow dry with heat protection (Love Redken Frizz Dismiss!) 4. Use oil on ends. I was blessed with good hair but your tips take it to another level. 5. Use stronger heat protection (Redkin Thermal Spray) if straightening! One question: Good or bad? After I put on conditioner or a mask, I brush my hair in the shower (gently from the bottom) with a boar bristle brush. I find it’s easier to brush when Icome out and have toweled dry with a microfiber towel. If you are ever in Vancouver, Canada let me know! Christel
I’m not a fan of dry shampoo either, but I will definitely give it a go. Just wondering what your thoughts are on Kerastase elixir ultimate? ❤ your channel!!
My hair started getting SO dry, tangled and matted… I wondered… where is that Hair Guy? I haven’t seen him in my “recommended” for a while now. Long story short, I watched a bunch of videos, ditched my old products (redken’s acidid bonding collection…) and got some recommended ones and, pardon my French, WHAT THE F? I can brush through my hair again!!! You saved me from chopping off like, 3 inches of hair. Thank you so so much!
I love this channel, and I learned so much from you guys. I don't think I could live without dry shampoo. I've sworn by it for ten years because I have pretty oily skin, making my hair super oily. I only wash my hair once a week, so I feel like I'm always buying dry shampoo, but you do have to find a good one that actually absorbs the oil because some out there make your hair feel like there's a layer of the awful product after using it and your hair feels worse than before.
This was very useful! Thx! The "spraying dry shampoo on mids and ends, is kind off like, making a protein shake without water" really drove the idea home... 😆
Chris, do you have another option for fine hair dry shampoo? The Living Proof is too fragranced for me and I am not able to use it. :(. I use every other product though in your fine hair recommendation list
I saw where you guys are located and I wish you could be somewhere in Illinois. When I need an answer for something about hair I go to this channel. This channel is my favorite channel on RUclips. I am also subscribed to you guys as well. I am wanting to go to college for cosmetology. I love to do hair, makeup, and nails! I think that you should put more stuff on your website like shirts that say live love locks. I would surely buy a shirt and the shower cap and the detangling brush. I am a big fan of you guys! I am 21 years old and I am glad that you tell your viewers what product and what brands are the best for your hair. You have given me so much advice, I appreciate it. I wish that you could put more videos up, I enjoy watching your videos!
**Posting Here in hopes of a reply/recc -- the mask suggested for blondes in your video from last year is not longer available. Best alternative? TIA!! Just found your videos - love them!! You're awesome!
Yes! Because he says it doesn’t matter but yes it does if you want to air dry your curls. We need product list for air dry curly hair please please @leslienaoom & @BlowoutProfessor
Please do one for fine, thin hair. I wait 4 to 5 days in between washings, use dry shampoo on days when it’s oily, but I can’t imagine adding oil of any amount to the ends of my hair. It would be a slick mess.
Hiii, I'm on a hair-growing journey so I came to you to tell you my hair care routine and see if you could suggest anything for it maybe? So, first the night before wash day I use Parachute Golden Coconut Oil in an applicator after warming it up for around 40 secs in the mircowave then I brush out my hair using a plastic wide-tooth comb and use the applicator bottle to apply the oil thoroughly onto my scalp and massage it in with a silicone hair massager and then work my way down my mid-shaft and ends, I apply extra oil to my ends and then brush thoroughly through my entire hair and put it up in a loose bun/braid/just leave it open and go to sleep. Then before lunch I brush my hair (with the same brush) before stepping into the shower. I thoroughly wet my hair, using my massager to just massage my hair whilst soaking my hair under the fauset, then I shampoo - (twice, both the same way) - [ I use the L'Oreal Elvive (Hyaluron) moisture shampoo, the purple one ] and shampoo use just my scalp using my massager and brush only my scalp part gently, then I rince thoroughly and get rid of any excess water, brush my hair gently and part it into two part horizontally and clip one part, then I take some conditioner [ Dove Nutritive Solutions | hairfall rescue, the bottle is Green and white in colour ] using my fingers I comb it through the part (Only my mid-shaft and ends) and then do the same with the other part, then I use a very light ammount to just smooth over the top of my hair, I do not put it in my scalp but just a little atop of my hair, then I brush my mid-shaft and ends gently, clip my hair up into a lose bun and wait for 5 minutes, once times over I thoroughly rince and get rid pf excess water, clipping my hair up into a loose bun and I dry myself (Since I have one towel for my body and hair) then after I get changed into clothes I wrap my towel around my hair and let it dry. Then after two days it's again wash day so I repeat everything I did, my hair feels soft, silky, smooth and thick (Alhumdulilah) and I think it's also growing much more then before but I would still like to ask for suggestions I'm also planning on using more oils and experimenting with different hair masks/diy hair remedies at home with natural indgridents; ie. Rice water, rosemarrywater, rice hair mask, okra hair mask, egg + honey hair mask, flax seed hair mask. I'm also thinking of making an oil my mother reccomended I use: it's made with onions, curryleaves, methi (don't know what it is in English but in Hindi and Bangla we call it Methi), Hibiscus and and two cup coconut oil. Also, i've been thinking if I should use my hair massager everyday for 5minutes, especially before wash day and brushing and massaging my hair before sleeping and after waking up. I also wanted to ask whether knowing what type of porosity hair you have ACTUALLY matters because I've seen a few ppl saying it does and some ppl saying it doesn't so I'm really confused.
It sounds like you're doing everything that Chris is not recommending. Scalp/oil treatments are not going to make your hair grow faster. All you need to do is make sure your scalp stays clean, use a hair mask or conditioner and a leave-in conditioner. After you've dried your hair add a little oil to the ends. That's all I've been doing and my hair grows just fine. Your hair doesn't grow more than half an inch per month so you shouldn't expect more than that. Just keep your ends moisturized so they don't break off.
I started your recommended products and hair routine a month ago and have already seen amazing results. Your shampoo and conditioner are AMAZING!! Makes my hair literally weightless. One question. I am a gym girlie and go every morning. I sweat so my roots get a little wet especially by the nape of the neck and my hair gets a bit frizzy. Do I do this same routine? Any other recommendations? Oh my hair is very fine and thin.
Sooooo happy you’re back on! Can you please advise when using heat protection spray.. is it on dry blow dried hair before using tongs? Also can you suggest one available within the UK please ❤
Hi thank you for all the wonderful videos and tips. You guys are awesome. What if you have fine curly hair? Do you still brush it before applying dry shampoo and oil on tips of hair? But what if it gets wild? How would I keep my beautiful curls? Pls help ❤
Dear Prof. I am following your advice regarding hair volume and I bought exactly what you recommended. I am very happy but I still need you… In this period it does nothing but rain and my hair suffers a lot. They are smooth and fine but with all this humidity they also suffer. Is there a spray to use before leaving the house that does not wet the hair, but only protects it as if it were an anti-humidity film? I will anxiously await your answer and I love you for everything you do ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the videos. I have changed my routine to wash every 3rd day and that has been great versus every day. The one thing I have noticed is that I now have itchy scalp. Any recommendations for that?
It sounds like you probably need to go back to washing more frequently. I had the same thing happen when I tried to go longer between wash days. I now wash every other day.
Thank you for your meaningful content! My hair improved 50% after 2 washes. Where have you been the last 30 years :-) What do you suggest for someone who does daily hot yoga? I can’t go for more than 2 days without washing. Dry shampoo?
I came across to you on TikTok, and I have to say the tips you share has helped my hair soooo much. I do have a question though, I have been trying to go 3-4 days without washing but my scalp gets flaky and really itchy. Can you recommend any tips? I am currently using Redken defrizz shampoo and conditioner. After wash I use either a botanical repair I purchased from Aveda or a defrizz cream, and avoid my scalp as best as I can. Thank you so much! 😊
What’s the best way to keep your hair dry while showering on non wash days? I’ve tried shower caps but it doesn’t seem to keep it all dry. Also should I put it up a certain way to preserve the style and how should I wear it to bed? Please let me know if you have covered this in another video. I’m a new subscriber and just trying to navigate your page. I love the videos so far!
Thanks, Chris!! Two questions… any tips on how to get rid of a hair crease from a ponytail/going to the gym?? Also, my stylist told me it’s fine to heat style as often as I want, as long as I use a heat protectant. Is that just totally false??
Thank you for all the explanations on dry shampoo use! ^^ Because of TV commercials I thought it was more for just starting to get oily a day after the wet shampoo situation than really oily roots. I only have two question left, do you recommend to use the dry shampoo in the evening before bed or in the morning just before the hair oil please? I'm a bit confused by the title and the content of the video seemingly contradicting each other. Do the dry shampoo actually clean anything else besides the oil? Like dust, bacterias, smells ect?
Can you please do a video on heat styling tools you recommend 🙏 I've been considering buying a Dyson but I know your not the biggest fan of that. Do you even recommend those types of drying items with all the different attachments??
Hi Chris! Your videos helped me a ton so far, my hair is the best since losing the xchildren have perfect hair" advantage. I wanted to start learning about heat styling too, as you said that it can make hair stay fresh longer between washes if everything is done right. My difficulty is that I have naturally curly hair (medium, not coarse, with bigger and looser curls) and I do love my curls so I have been using a diffusor so far when blowdrying. Is there a way to get that "fresh for longer" and shiny effect while also not straightening my hair? I know that I could use a curling iron, but I would like to wear MY curls.

I miss how much thicker and stronger my hair used to be. I will try what you have said and hopefully my hair will get healthier. Thanks again! 😊
I'm editing this because after submitting my comment, I looked to see what the recommended products would be for my fine hair. I'm retired and those prices are WAY too high for me. Aren't there any products you could recommend that are less pricey? I know the shampoos would last longer than what I use, but that would not allow me to add any of the other videos.
Thank you for your time,
Love this! Thank you so much for all that you do. My hair is long and healthy too because of you!
Dear Chris, Lesley and Team,
Love the channel and the fantastic tips!
Christel
I feel sooooooooo lucky that I found your channel🧡💫
Hairstylist from Canada. Love your videos. Wondering of you've tried schwarzkopf Bonacure peptide repair
I can’t thank you enough for your videos. I have learned so much and love your shampoo and conditioner.
Another life changing product I've been using, is a silk bonnet to sleep. AMAZING hair in the morning
Chris, do you have another option for fine hair dry shampoo? The Living Proof is too fragranced for me and I am not able to use it. :(. I use every other product though in your fine hair recommendation list
It really stinks!
I like the Klorane dry shampoo with nettle. It has a scent but it's nowhere near as strong as Living Proof.
Please show us how to color gray at home❤
Yes please
I love your shampoo and conditioner, I also got the brush as well
Chris thank you for saving my thin oily hair
Love your videos! This video helped me because i dont use dry shampoo the right way. This helps out alot
I use a boars bristle brush to brush out my hair. It is my absolute go to brush! It is an amazing brush!
Absolutely luv ur vids
🙏
Thank you, Chris!
Please do more specific problems to like dandruff or very wet climate or for hars sun exposure or windy climates, stuff like that
Can you please do a video about curly hair. It's totally different than straight salon hair.
Yes! Because he says it doesn’t matter but yes it does if you want to air dry your curls. We need product list for air dry curly hair please please @leslienaoom & @BlowoutProfessor
Love your channel!!
Please do one for fine, thin hair. I wait 4 to 5 days in between washings, use dry shampoo on days when it’s oily, but I can’t imagine adding oil of any amount to the ends of my hair. It would be a slick mess.
Yay! A new video!
Then after two days it's again wash day so I repeat everything I did, my hair feels soft, silky, smooth and thick (Alhumdulilah) and I think it's also growing much more then before but I would still like to ask for suggestions
I'm also planning on using more oils and experimenting with different hair masks/diy hair remedies at home with natural indgridents; ie.
Great how to video! Thank you.
Chris can you test ghd Duet Blowdry later this year?? I need to know if it's worth the money for Xmas!! 🙏💇♀️🎄
Thank you - love all your tips!
Oh Im so happy when you post!
🙏
The link isn’t working for me for some reason. New to the channel! Loving the content!
Hi thank you for all the wonderful videos and tips. You guys are awesome. What if you have fine curly hair? Do you still brush it before applying dry shampoo and oil on tips of hair? But what if it gets wild? How would I keep my beautiful curls? Pls help ❤
Thank you, loved this video! So helpful. 😊❤
Can you make a video about correct blow dry technique for volume?
Yay! New video! ❤
Hi, can you please test the new K18 dry shampoo? I love your videos and you saved my hair!
I will anxiously await your answer and I love you for everything you do ❤❤❤❤
Hi, I love your channel! Can you do a video about postpartum hair loss?
Love your videos, what a difference in my hair 🙌🏼💜
Thank you so much, best wishes from London, England-🌹
Straight haired ppl have it so easy 😭🙏
Let me hold our hands when I tell you this…
Thank you for the videos.
It's me, I am Gertrude haha Thanks for these tips, I have always been afraid of dry shampoo, but I am more interested in trying it now
I was curious is ouai products are good?i kept seeing reviews about them all the time i would like to hear your opinion about their products
I love these videos ❤
hi! can you do a video about hair glossing?
I have medium to fine hair and the Moroccan light oil works well for me. But just a few drops. Of course, the Olaplex is fantastic.
Thank you for your meaningful content! My hair improved 50% after 2 washes. Where have you been the last 30 years :-)
What do you suggest for someone who does daily hot yoga? I can’t go for more than 2 days without washing. Dry shampoo?
finally you posted 🤩🤩🤩
Hi I was wondering if you could do a video talking about glycolic acid hair gloss if it’s safe, how you should apply it , the benefits and negatives
I like klorane dry shampoo, it really works
Hi Chris😊 can you do a video of hair glossing? Pls🥺🙏🏼🙏🏼
Any tips for people with fine curly hair who don’t want to use heat at all. No blow drying no straightening no curling irons.
That's really not his thing. Try Manes by Mell for curly hair 🙂
@@derrickjenniferwatkins1394 Glam Girl Gabby is also good for wavy fine hair.
