When I first seen this couple in Rockford, Illinois I was speechless and from the first note to the last I had nothing but goosebumps from head to toe. This is one of my favorites.
Just saw Ida Mae in Cologne Germany a week ago. What a moving evening. They played many of the songs from their debut album coming out in june. This couple is going to make a much larger mark in the story of rock music, than they allready have to date. Everyone that knew Kill It Kid, will recognise that these two had a view at what they wanted to do.... and now they are doing it, and it is fantastic. If you have the chance anywhere, go out and see these two commited musicians who are finding their groove, even after years of success. Keep your eyes peeled for Ida Mae!
Best live act I've seen in years. Have now seen them twice open for bigger acts, and they've WON the crowd each time. I wouldn't want to follow them. Inspiring.
I checked out 2-3 songs from Ida Mae before seeing them open up for Blackberry Smoke in Kalamazoo. i thought they were ok. Then i seen them live and was blown away by their performance. The love that they have for 1 another really shows on stage not to mention their talent. I know for certain they gained many fans that night. Keep Rockin Ida Mae and im so glad you were able to make the show!! U2 rock and Thank You for letting me get a pic with you!!
I love you, Ida Mae. I rocked from the rail with you at The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, NJ two weeks ago. My friends were outside of the venue at 4:30 a.m.. I showed up at 10 a.m.. Thank you for mentioning them.
Sometimes you go to a show and come away thrilled to have been introduced to great music like this. I really enjoyed you guys opening for Blackberry Smoke on this current leg of their tour.
Please release a live version. This version is beautiful but I saw you guys live a few days ago and the live version was sang with so much more emotion and passion and it was a faster tempo, it was incredible!
