It’s still a fairly new ride. The park is still training ride ops for pipeline.
I’m a pass holder and I’ve never had bad experiences with any SeaWorld park. Sounds like a lot of complaining tbh. Y’all just sound like unhappy people lol.

I hope you have a good visit, the rides look great! I'd be mentally and financially prepared to buy the quick queue if lines are long and slow!

If you are going during the Halloween time frame make sure you look for rides / 1 side of the park closing down early for the set up of the event, so plan ahead. Get the meal deal if you are doing to be there all day all 1 meal every 90 mins it pays for itself you plan on eating twice our getting the drink cup. Ps you get a deal on the refillable cup " only $8 ish bucks" if you have the meal deal.

We went to Sea World the first week of May and had a good experience. We ended up upgrading our tickets at the end of our first day and went back for a second full day and an hour and a half on the third day. We heard lots of talk that they were having staffing issues. Half of the park didn’t open for an hour after park opening. Some of the ride staff seemed to hate their jobs, but we also had some great experiences with some ride staff.
Mako & Journey to Atlantis were under refurbishment. Infinity falls went down several times while we were there, and Ice Breaker went down a couple of times. Also, some of the Sesame Street rides were down each day. At one point, we counted 7 rides down and there were only 13 rides total at that time!
The animal centered staff we encountered were great. They were more than happy to answer all of our questions and interact with us.
The food left something to be desired. I’m originally from California and we’ve always loved the churros at Sea World San Diego. The one we got in Orlando was so bad we couldn’t chew it and threw it away. And, the food cost more than at Disney!
Overall, we enjoyed our visit and if we make it back to Orlando this year, we will go for a day because we have passes. We wouldn’t spend the money on Aquatica, though. I’ve not seen one good review of it.

Thanks for the comment and sharing your experience at the park!
It's fairly typical for Sea World parks to open the rides late as every Sea World park we've been to typically will open rides an hour or so after opening. I've never fully understood why they do this, but I think it has something to do with staffing.
We did not check out many of the animal attractions so we didn't have much interaction with those staff members, but I'm happy that they were better than the ride ops.
We also did not eat any food, but it's sad when anything at Sea World Orlando is more expensive than Disney because Disney is so much better.

😭 It makes me so sad that you guys had this experience. Sea World is one of my favorite parks, but I have to agree that the workers are not well trained. As for ride ops you got really unlucky. Usually Mako is a walk on with less than minute dispatches. I’ve seen pipeline pump out trains too. The wait times are usually inaccurate… I think they artificially boost the wait times to convince people to buy the fast pass. I’ve seen mako say 30 minutes and there was nobody in the line. I’ve had issues with line cutters there as well and learned to police them myself because I’m not letting that slide, but the workers definitely will!
Great video though and i’m sorry you had this experience.

We've never had great experiences with any of the ride ops at any of the Sea World parks, especially when compared to Disney or Cedar. That's a bummer that Mako is usually a quick line and we missed out on a short wait! That's interesting that they'll deceive wait times to make it seem longer than it is, as that was not our experience that day. Good to know about line cutters, I've seen them get in big trouble at other parks and assumed the ride ops would do the same. Thanks for your comment and thoughts!

This is my experience every time I go to SWO. SWO does not care unless you are VIP. And then they will bend over backwards for you. Ride Ops at SWO is horrible. And none of the workers know anything, so they will just make things up. Also the RV thing is typical too. They don't think about logistics at all.

Thanks for the comment! Out of all the major theme park companies, we've found that Sea World parks are noticeably the worst in terms of operations and logistics. Thanks for your perspective and hopefully we both have better experiences with Sea World in the future as unlikely as that sounds haha

Hi First time viewer i had to click on the video because Seaworld Orlando is my favorite park. I dislike the fact that it dont get as much love as the other Orlando parks. Im so sorry yall have such bad luck. I live in SC and plan a trip to Seaworld Orlando every year.
NOW even though it is my favorite park i can agree with a few things yall said.
Ive never had a large or RV parking when ive gone but i know the parking attending can be clueless. We have handicap and sometimes you really have to wave it in their faces for them to send you down the right path.
The App is pretty new and is not always up to date on ride times but it is updated everyday for show times.
Ride times can be a lot better..... Manta is normally the worst since it is in the front of the park and i havent seen them run both dispatch platforms in about 2-3 years so talk about slow. On my last visit i didnt get to ride pipiline due to the long wait and off and on bad weather. But the line looked a lot longer than the posted time. If they are going to continue to calm the coaster capital of orlando they need to work on dispatch times.
Ive myself have done the sunny day guarantee once in the park before leaving and once online so i know its a true thing. But you can also reach out to them via phone call. But i do believe you have to get the tickets from the and it sounds like yall said yall got the 3rd party maybe. Maybe i misunderstood that.
Sorry your birthday didnt go as planned. Anyone that knows me knows birthdays are a big thing to me so i know that could really put someone in a bad mood when its not going as planned. I read the comment that said yall just sound like unhappy people, yall sound like it was a snowball effect kind of day and it was your birthday to top things off.
I love the park because i feel like it has something for everyone. Shows , great food " get the meal deal " and wonderful rides. I hope you can get your sunny day tickets so you can see the park for all the wonders it have.
Good Luck on yall next visit.

The ride ops and dispatch times are frustrating because it could be so much faster. It was tough to watch when we were there. You are right about the snowball effect type of day. Things just went from bad to worse quickly. The park seems like it has a lot of potential that could be fixed with a better staff training program. And yes a shuttle to the water park would be great!

Just went last week, found it really frustrating. No one is checking fast passes, no one directs you, only employees are operating the actual ride. I can only imagine the state of upkeep of the coasters. Oh yeah and most rides only have a single freaking train. Complete and utter chaos.

    • @InterstateExplorers
      @InterstateExplorers  10 месяцев назад

Total chaos. We've been to theme parks all over this country and all Sea World parks are the worst. Poorly trained staff that have no clue about customer experience of ride efficiency.
