Germany's Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said on Monday he was hopeful a lasting political solution to the Syrian crisis could be found.
At a joint news conference in Abu Dhabi with his Emirati counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Steinmeier reiterated the importance of continuing to push the peace process forward.
For his part, Sheikh Abdullah urged all parties in the conflict to work towards achieving a political solution.
