You are so clear when you describe things it's great. I'm about to buy the materials to make my first dream catcher, thank you so much for posting this video!
I love you're voice and how calmly you describe every step of the project I look forward to watching all your videos and hopefully being able to replicate the projects
I am planning on teaching my Sunday school kids this project in February. I loved how you demonstrated the way to build up the layers till you reach the middle. I have found a covered wire which is easily bent into a circle at my local craft store and with the donated yarn from our congregants we will be able to have each individual child make one to take home and hang above their beds.
I made this too! Something indeed glided down on my head while I slept. It was a bead of one of the ends. Ouch. Fixed it with a little hot glue though.
I just made my first today. Never seen a tutorial before. After watching this video I'm sure I'm gonna make a really good one! Just need to grab a few things tomorrow.
I found out about dream catches from my nan when I was very little because she loves them and has them all around her house. I made one once at her house and she still has it hung up in the living room. I make them all the time now! 😊
Oh My Gosh. let me say how helpful this was. I have a secret Santa that is due and the girl I got loves dream catchers and I had no idea how to make them. I spent all day creating one with a tennis racket but I finally did it by using this. thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video. I bought a kit to make a dream catcher for my newborn granddaughter and I was totally lost on the instructions. I was about to give up and toss it all in the trash. Thank you for showing me how to make all the bad dreams go away for my beautiful grandbaby.
I love your Dreamcatcher video^^*! I'm a Canadian Aboriginal teaching in South Korea. I will be making dreamcatchers with my students during Spring Camp, and I will be using your tutorial as a pre-making visual support for my students :)
Lovey example of a dream catcher! I remember my mom teaching me how to make the web years ago, using embroidery thread on some cheap bangles. Maybe I'll find some more sturdy materials like yours, since the thread would stretch and was hard to keep tight.
Thank you this is beautifull I wan to make one for my husband because he had heart surgery but right now finances are not good. We have 4 kids and trying to make it every day but this made me feel good seeing how pretty it is thank you.
Thank you so much! The tutorial was so helpful and the tips will come in handy! I'd made these a long time ago and forgot some of the style, yours looks perfect!
Make it for the sake of beautiful legend... for believe ... for knowing that u create something with a good intention. It's so easy to make... I used yarn to wrap mine around, no need to go to buy anything, u can always find something in your own house u can use... it could be a skinny bracelet, u can bend an object or twig to create a circle, u can take a top from sour cream jar and using craft knife cut center out and u have a circle...Open your mind... remember the first real dreamcatchers did not have perfectly round shape, they were used with material provided by nature. Good luck.
This is by far the best dreamcatcher DIY video I've seen till date! It was really simple and easy to make! Thank you so much for uploading this Sea Lemon! :)
I have ALWAYS wanted a dreamcatcher, and I can finally make one myself, thanks to you, +Sea Lemon! I have just started watching your videos, and I subscribed. :)
Dreamcatchers are one of my favourite things in this world, I've *always* wondered how they were made, but actually never searched for a tutorial... and now this comes... I'm so in love with this tutorial~ Thank you so so soooo much for this and the extra info, I'm totally going to make my own dreamcatcher (I actually own three, but never had one made by me), this is going to be awesome!

Great tutorial and very helpful, I have just had a request to make a dream catcher for a friend, the only problem is.... the ring that they wish me to use is only 25mm across.. aaahh well....here goes....lol.. please Keep posting tutorials.
Just a hint for those that cant find artificial sinew, I used waxed linen on mine. Its perfect and stays really well. It may not be traditional but it is pretty.
I made it using light green lace and jute for the loops As for the charm I used a cat face bead and for the feathers I used my parrots feathers which cam out It was fun thank you for this tutorial
first decent tutitorial on how to make a dream catch you used the same materials I use but I also make them out of willow branches and real turkey feathers guess it's time make a videos but yours are very close to how I make mine but I sell mine along with the mocosins I make but it comes natural to me full blooded native American like I said great video my hat goes off to you
I am Native American. I make dream catchers with homemade wooden beads and real eagle feathers. It is more traditional this way. I normally wouldn't use any bright colors though.
I am back watching this again; I first saw this 2 years ago. Thanks for your hard work! I hope this finds you happy and well these days!

One of the things I am doing with mine is using contrasting cotton crochet thread #3 will work well for the center instead of sinew!
+tina fritz where did you find the contrasting cotton crochet? not a fan of the sinew
Bridgett Mckinley try embroidery hoops & threads..( many colours )
