Grand Old Man (G.O.M) who is never free from the radar of social and political critics yet stood tall against all odds.
He may not be a prefect epitome of Naga idea on various fronts. However, Dr. Jamir's contribution to the Naga cause or to the Indian Democracy cannot be undermined. He is a true man of the Soil. Nagas should start acknowledging this harsh truth even if we agree to disagree on varied aspects. Nagas should be proud to have a tall leader like Dr. Jamir. May God give him good health and a peaceful life until his last voyage.

I really wish this interview was hours long..it was too short..esp when it is with Dr .S.C.Jamir,his presence of mind at 91 is truly God gifted. Such a blessing to the whole Naga society. This is one of the best intellectual interview. As a Naga i strongly believe what our ex-Cm Jamir has said throughout this interview. Muviah has really played wit our emotions and feelings. Time to wake up n educate our generation. Lastly I would like to read his books for better understanding.

100% agreed....the Nagas must understand what his thought. He is the living legend of Nagas. It is understood that so many leaders were killed by someone who is outside from Nagas of Nagaland. And What is the meaning of demanding flag and constitutions without sovereignty??.
Sovereignty word has different shades of opinion.
Autonomy :was achieved after the formation of district long time ago.
Secession,suggested by phizo was already ruled out and he fled to London for good.
Initially, what it was meant of sovereignty
that is already achieved in 1963 by attaining statehood.
After that ,it's nothing but quest remains for individual( muivah and likes )to seize power handle.It means more power to individuals like .uivah and gang . Public already attained sovereignity long ago.
The sovereignty in the minds of people ( secession to papa pays and child plays model) varies from that of muivah. When he says sovereignty ,it means "to rule over people"as much as possible( larger pan naga landscape).The gymnastics from to and fro to delhi is all about more power to thim. Why,because he is a gangsta.
His voice is heard in ukhrul. Thqt's correct! He sabotaged the uncertainty of naga theatre to fulfil his soaring dreams by rewriting history to incorporate his Agenda Naga consciousness was hijacked completely.

Dr SC Jamir very glad to hear his point of view though our Perspective may differ we seem to have a Common Goal. He loves the Nagas and believes in a united Naga homeland but due to certain circumstances had to do what he had to do. People lacking knowledge in Naga History shouldn't take this to detest the Naga Movement but instead think deeper about what This Grand Old Naga Leader's contribution were. Time has changed and now it up to our new Generation to be in the forefront to achieve a larger Goal but by doing that let us not forget even the small contributions made by elders of the past. I am sure some few Nagas living in the periphery of Nagaland may hurt their butts but nothing is better than telling the truth.
The main motive for the Chinese brand faction is to keep the words Sovereignty and Integration alive so that they too may not perished like Sovereignty and Integration.
As long as those perished words are keep alive they too will not perish but continue to bleed Nagas to live a luxurious lives like Kings and Queens out of people's blood and tears.
Its high time that they realised their greed and give up their financial terror before another great Franch Revolution take place.

Princely kangleipak (Manipur) acceded with the federation of India during year 1949. Manipur was already indian when Nagas of present Nagaland bleeded.
