I have a NerdMiner v2. The screen shows all the information about the public pool, but it doesn't mine anything. The red LED keeps flashing all the time, but the worker also stays at 0 Khs all the time. It restarts after 15 minutes. I'm using the system that came with it. Would it be a good idea to flash the website?
I didn't even make it past the flashing part with the updated firmware and it said "Flashing failed error timeout". I tried the ESP tool as recommended on the website and the screen on my miner remains black
I bought one NerdMiner v2 a couple of days ago. The sceen shows all the information of the public pool, but it does not mine at all. Red led is flashing all the time, but the worker is 0 Khs all the time too. I can not to configure again, because I could not connect to NerdminerAP to change the configuration. Any idea?
If u press and hold top front button on pwr up if should boot into config mode and allow u to try and re configure. Failing that just wipe flash and reflash
If you have 2 botyh set up with the same BTC address then you will be mining with 2 miners and I guess you're chances of mining a block would be twice as likely. I currently have 2 mining. It doubles the mining power.
Great video, could you help me out a little bit with the public pool though. I don’t quite understand it, is that a required field or can I just enter the network and my BTC address and it will mine. I’m new to this and I would like to thank you for the video.
@@robgrooveThanks for the responce, I am some what familiar with the difference, but on the set up part it shows a pool port and pool url, which I dont understand, I wouldnt know what to put in there.
The port is just the suffix part of the address after the URL, where one 'points' the miner at. e.g: xmr-eu1.nanopool.org:10343 10343 is the stratum port and the former is the URL
Where does it say the addresss needs to start with bc1q , should I reset mine. What's the difference in pools? Does where you live mater what pool ?I Great video ! Go BTC !! Thank you
Not yet, Still mining. I bought 2 and gave one to my mother, I added the same wallet address to both miners and we'll share the reward if either one mines a block. Still mining, Still waiting.

Does the bitcoin address you used begin with bc1 ?
You can also monitor your miner using this address web.public-pool.io/#/app/ADDYOURBTCADDRESS

Maybe you flashed the wrong firmware for your device?

@robgroove thanks a lot. I saw that button, did reset and I could reconfigure the NerdMiner.I am mining right now.
I flash my drive now. It doesn't work. The screen doesn't turn on now ?
Did u flash the correct firmware for your device?
Yes, It doesn't turn on, but USB recognises it, but no screen
@@Vlad0340 Which model do you have?
NerdMiner, NerdMiner-Github, Nerdaxe, NerdQaxe, Bitaxe?
It's OK. it's in the bin now, not to worry
What if you buy more than one of these…..if they are all set up identical, does that negate having multiple?

This tutorial doesn't show how to add a public pool. It only shows how to solo mine.

which wallet we should use to have full access
@@abhishekpathak5194 what do u mean full access?
I have a question, when I turn it off for a few hours, it loads again and how can it be selected afterwards
How can what be selected?
It will start mining on its own as soon as you add power provided its set up correctly.
Is there a way to reset the NerdMiner?
@@Jayee219 yes. In the video i show at the start how to flash it. That wil reset it.
Hi! If the WiFi turn off for few hours , then the nerdminer will be start working again alone or do we reconnect it ? Thanks !
Pretty sure it will reconnect on its own. You can tell by looking at the screen.
Can I use this to mine small amounts of bitcoin using a public mining pool. Without solo mining
pretty sure you can but I haven't tried it myself.
Does it actually make any btc or is it a car of needing to hit a full block to actually make anything?
pretty sure you can join a pool if you wish but the way I have mine set up is im solo mining.
So... this is it lottery or mining?
hehe both. :)
What is the fee?
The fee for what?

@@Darth_Raider_ I make zero money from this but I do have an affiliate link. ;)

Wish I knew about this stuff. I know nothing about bitcoin 😂
Sounds interesting
Well I did offer you some for free. ;) Maybe next time.

This miner can profitable if electric cost is 0
