Yes, thank you (11 min in). As a veteran of Iraq, people are surprised when I say that war is equally mentally and physically exhausting. These jokers on the left/right talking about war and what not, thinking it will be fun, and they'll kick ass, and who have no experience in war don't know what it really is. These are kids growing up with their war experiences coming from video games like Call of Duty or Medal of Honor. In war, you have to be alert 24 hours a day, even when you are asleep, you wake up, you think, "Why did I wake up? Do I need my rifle?" You may not sleep or eat for days. You have to press on despite injury. I'm done my soap box.

He's fucking creepy too.
@Nanny State NoNo's You mean besides things like gun rights? In fact, today HST would probably be a huge proponent of today's libertarian. He'd absolutely detest the progressive left of today.
@Nanny wrote "He was smart enough to realize nobody wants your gun." That's a flat out lie. There is presently firearm confiscation going on in New Jersey, California, and Oregon. People have been killed in gun confiscation. But you think it's funny. Why? I suspect you're full of "soy".
@Nanny State NoNo's he also directed snuff movies in his home
@Nanny State NoNo's Idk, it's some pretty exclusive shit. No but seriously do you know about the Franklin cover up and how he ties into it? Thompson was a freak.
This guy would be running to his car if he hung out with Hunter for even an hour. He seems way too high strung. Of course, going on a show that has the following Rogan has probably would make most people really nervous, plus he needs to lay off the Adderall. It doesn't seem to be helping him much, rather making him a jittery mess.
Well this would too.

Why does everyone hate this guy?
Exactly from the book
I've only just read Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and knowing that it was originally a article for Rolling Stone, how much of the book actually happened and how much was pure fiction? Did the Lucy incident actually happen or was it just part of the story?
Adrenochrome....fooled a lot of ppl w/that...dvd commentary, Terry Gilliam talks about it. Obviously, the story about "cut the head off right there in the parking lot" was meant to scare the guy at the D.A. convention, in the movie a guy in the lobby is telling it to somone on the phone.
GET RICKY GERVAIS ON!
0:22 “but I shoot with this one” my man made a waco kid reference, pulled a little sneaky one on ya
This discussion was a little too heady for Joe and his audience. Too nuanced, too many details. Skimming “Fear & Loathing” and watching documentaries doesn’t give you a full sense of Thompson.
Start off with Trump huh? How original lol
I wonder if he still feels the same way after over 2 years of Joey Boy
An overcaffeinated guest it seems. This guy is very on edge.
he takes adderall everyday
He's mentioned in the Nebraska cover up book by John W.DeCamp
the darkest of the dark stuff!
when the tanks roll in the streets they will all go to the sewer
Owen is right. You lost your spine
Steve Swallow yes,he recently just was talking about how Gavin no longer associates with the proud boys. But, i believe you chalk things up like these to him not wanting to be combative and not wanting to start a debate in the middle of his guest making their point
Owen is a swine.
He wrote that book "whistle with your teeth"
I'm proud to be a American 💯 IAM but this is why i choose to be an independent. I believe both sides got a lot of good views but I'm for those who I see doing and really hearing the people voice the people who are fight like us and just need a hand not hand out and see as we see it for now. How are streets are filled with more homeless how are law's are feeling use and all we keep hearing is the cost . But wat about the cost to spend now to impeach are presadent are the cost we sent to that same country that was plotting to kill are solders and innocent people.
I mean, what can the press expect when they disregard their duty of reporting the truth as unbiasedly as possible and start making up lies? People aren't going to care anymore what happens to them.
this guy is talking so nervously like hes afraid someone is about bust down the door for him
