  • An eastbound BNSF coal train comes to the top of the hill at Agency, Iowa on May 28, 2017. As the front two locomotives go away, a red signal can be seen on the other track indicating a westbound train is approaching. Many of the hopper cars of this train have the reporting mark SRLX which belongs to Southern Rail Leasing.
After the end of the coal train goes by, it makes it to the next crossing down before the westbound train appears. This second unit freight train is an empty coal train. The trains' two crews are heard briefly over the radio right before a defect detector gives its report on the empty. Nearly all the cars on the westbound say DAPX which is the reporting mark for Dairyland Power Cooperative.
