Seen at Gorleston on Sea early 1960s. Would love to be able to see one like this in action. Very clever mechanism, very surreal. Reminds me of Portmeirion and Lewis Carroll for some reason. Can still recall the music it played, the toucan and the mechanical man clipping a hedge.
Oh wow! This is really stirring the memories!
The clock was amazing me an my sisters spent hours watching it, an being In the park ,especially the playground at battersea park road endx
I saw an identical one at Peasholm Park in Scarborough in the early 1960s. I was on a family holiday and my Dad took a B/W photo of it.

Many thanks
I saw it in London in 1951. I was 13 at the time.
I think this was somewhere near the Crazy House. Yes?
Where is it now and can I buy it
I thought I remembered a policeman coming up from one of the round chimneys on the top.
Was it ever at Barry island
Not sure but my Dad definitely took us to see it in Cardiff in the late 50s…….possibly Roath Park?
