Such wonderful happy uncomplicated days & nights... So fortunate to have been a Teenager in the days where we literally had it all to Live & Die for...

This is an amazing and unique insight into London working class life in the years just before the multicultural London we know today. The participants are remarkably clear and thoughtful in the interviews. Watch the full length version. Its surprising that there is so little commentary out there on this gem.

There was quite a lot of comments on the full length version a few years back but most have comments turned off now and the original one has no information at all which is a shame as some info from some of the participants would be fantastic. I was a rocker in the 60s and lived in Chelsea but was not a Chelsea bridge boy .

@@regcarnegie692 hello, I'm sure my Dad was a part of the Chelsea Bridge boys back in the 60's early 70's could be earlier, he would always talk about his days on the Bridge on his bike, I spent most Friday nights in the early 2000's on the bridge watching the riders too :)
He passed away in February of this year and I was wondering if you maybe remember him.
His name was Steve White I think he sometimes went by Stevie/Stevie boy.

@@englishrose0309 Sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I knew a couple of Steve’s at the bridge. Alas all of my close friends at the bridge have passed away. I am still in touch with a couple of the girls I knew at that time. kindest regards Reg
