Brutal Youth, Tight Wire, Heart Attack Man(my #1), Forgetaboutit, are on my top list of the past year. I don't know why i didn't listen you top of 2023 sooner. Continue the great jobs you made with this project guys! Dont know if you guys listen the complete album we(Capable!) release? Thanks again to add our songs to your playlist!
Never heard Colorsfade, had a quick listen and they sound a lot like Slick Shoes, especially the guitar work, in fact Open Book wouldn't sound out of place on Wake Up Screaming....amazing!
Damn, tons of albums I haven't listened to yet. Adding some of these to my backlog. I'm all in on Frenzal with you guys. My list is mostly punk/punk-adjacent: 1. Frenzal Rhomb - The Cup Of Pestilence 2. 100 gecs - 10,000 gecs 3. Making Friends - Fine Dying 4. Zulu - A New Tomorrow 5. Codefendants - This is Crime Wave 6. MSPaint - Post-American 7. Danvers - Like We Knew What It Meant 8. Jeff Rosenstock - HELLMODE 9. blink-182 - ONE MORE TIME... 10. Scowl - Psychic Dance Routine I'd give Clowns my honorable mention. Need to go back and listen to it more, but I've loved this band for a long time. Their trashy hardcore stuff is some of the best of that genre and I love how they change up their sound a bit on each record and do it so well.
@@PunkRockRadar Zulu, MSPaint, and Scowl are all variations of hardcore and 100 gecs is hyper-pop. Not sure if any of those would be up your alley but worth a shot!
@@toddpacker4683 I need to give it another shot. Diesel Boy is one of those bands that has never fully clicked with me. They're good, just maybe a personal preference.
Great channel guys. You’ve introduced me to a couple of bands I really like PUP and heart attack man being two, wondered if you could sign post me to any other similar artists??
Want another Aussie album from 2023 - go The Malphs. EDIT: Oh man, Dylan, you are all over it. Well done. You actually introduced me to 2 new Aussie bands. Great stuff.
Thanks Dylan to help us selling our album so we can sell it out and put out a second print with a different title. You'll choose it! But we still suggest "Poorly played NOFX"
I did not know Diesel Boy had a new album. I saw them in our local, small pub with Bouncing Souls. It was amazing night. I bought all DB's CDs (3 at the time) at the show.
I still haven't listened to that 7 Years Bad Luck record but just from the sound clip it sounds like something I'd love. My top ten would be: 1. Scott Sellers - Mercy Street 2. Making Friends - Fine Dying 3. Faintest Idea - The Road To Sedition 4. Forgetaboutit - Sometimes It Just Means... 5. Upside Down Man - Looking Up 6. WSTR - Til The Wheels Fall Off 7. Angel Du$t - Brand New Soul 8. Frenzal Rhomb - The Cup of Pestilence 9. Blink-182 - One More Time... 10. Jeff Rosenstock - Hellmode
@@PunkRockRadar Apparently it's kind of a re-recording of an older album I was not aware of, but I like his solo version better anyways, so it makes the list lol

Go the Aussies. Frenzal! Hell yeah. 'Those People' for the win! 'How to Make Gravox' is a pisstake on a very big Aussie classic song by Paul Kelly: 'How to Make Gravy'.
Thanks for the playlist lads. Had a good listen to it today, and have found new bands I hadn't heard before. Cheers from Australia.
Thanks for the support! I'm going to be adding more songs to the playlist this weekend. If I missed anything let me know!

Bridge the Gap also new to me. Thanks. This is awesome.
Awesome. 7 Years Back Luck - a great discovery. Like them and had not heard of them before now.

Hellmode was a fire record, Jeff's output is incredible and it's always chaotic fun
Have you heard the new Diesel boy?
I need to check out a lot of this stuff, 100 gecs, Zulu, MSPaint, Scowl, I don't think I listened to these

RANDOM HAND!
Frenzal Rhomb, Kimberly Steaks, Colorsfade, Tightwire, and Random Hand make the cut for me
Great list. Lots of similar favourites for me too
Thanks as always Aaron, if I missed anything let me know!
You are welcome!

Dinosaur Pile-Up, Decent Criminal, Dirty Nil, Fight Back Mountain, Debt Neglector
Dinosaur Pile-Up are amazing.....they need to release an album, it's been way too long!@@PunkRockRadar
They were in the studio last year, hoping it’s a full length!
Oh nice, saw them at a festival last year, super good live too@@PunkRockRadar

Lol I'm just playing, the record's great - I got it on pink wax 🙂 -Dylan
@@BucsRaysBolts haha jokes apart, thanks sincerely!
Finally, a smaller/new band I HAVE heard of. I had several One of Us songs in my 2023 H100.
Im glad you put that "there is a cat here" disclaimer. I thought it was Louis!
Yeah I was editing and I was like damn, that looks pretty weird haha

I was really hoping you will not mention the new Rancid album which is in my opinion one of their worst album to date.

Taking shots at blink yet has that mxpx in your top 10? Come on man...
That MXPX has no place here, agreed, shame on Dylan
If this is what people considered punk rock in 2024, we're fucked
Did you just wake up from a 25 year long coma?
No Jeff Rosenstock??? Best punk album in like a decade
