Number 11 of don't be that guy... Going all by yourself mountain riding... We came up on a guy that was walking all by himself on the trail... He had his helmet in hand and was hurting from his elbow... He got so lucky that we chose that path cause he would of walked for ages and his sled was stuck against a tree... Dan can you please do an entire video on why you should not go sledding alone ?
These were all great! Some funny, but all very real. And #9 hits home, as my 14yr old daughter rides an RMK600 144" so sometimes I have to be ok with laying down a path she can easily follow. Once again, great video, you guys are killing these! I've grown up my whole life in WY, and only since 2016 have I gotten back into snowmobiling since the early 90s, and a lot has changed. I started watching your videos years ago, and I can't tell you how many times they have saved my bacon! Thanks for the content, keep it coming!
8:29 I agree 100%!! I have a clear/heated goggle lens that came with my helmet. For those sunny days, it was hard on the eyes so I bought a second set that is tinted. So for bright, sunny days I wear my tinted lens and when it gets dark out, I switch to my clear/heated lens where it keeps my face wearm and I can see clearly in low vis.
I like the point about not ruining trails, it’s something we see too much of. I watched a recent video filmed in turnagain pass and he was talking about all the bomb holes people are leaving right in the middle of the uptrack, everybody wants to show off and do/practice their moves right on the trail, it really sucks to hit one of those bomb holes when you’re trying to maintain control on a steep descent, it can result in serious injuries. What I found funny, and true, is when he likened this new trend of bowties hopovers and reentries to being in a grocery store parking lot and all the kids are on the sidewalk all trying to do kick flips. All the maneuvers have their place in snowmobiling for sure and take skill, but please stop doing them in the middle of the trail.
How bout the idiots that park littered all over the trail just asking to get hit. How dumb does a guy have to be to not have the common courtesy to pull over as a group to the side of the trail to let others by
Hi and thanks for reaching out!! Remember that the foundation of nearly everything we do is good cardiovascular strength so keep that up while you train. Riding opposite foot forward is a full body movement so there are multiple exercises that will increase your confidence. Here are just a few: Planks Lunges Burpees Squats Box jumps or step ups Push ups Calf raises Lat pull downs Make each day you exercise or each day you ride an opportunity to improve by starting small and steadily challenging yourself! Thanks for watching and keep practicing 👍
Hi broken leg feller hear just relaying what doc told me, if you are wearing knee braces you are risking injury moving the injury up the leg to your hip.
Ruining the trail is also when someone punches throttle creating a huge hole or trench, screwing riders behind them. Most people understand the follow same line part but many still aren’t conscientious or considerate enough of throttle use in the same case. Sucks when you’re last, and what was barely passable for the second rider is exhausting survival, especially all day. This applies for where and how you stop waiting for person in front of you to keep moving. Try not to park at the very very last possible place before Steve climb where you can barely make it without any momentum, where you are forced to give it full throttle and create a massive hole, completely screwing everybody behind you into getting bucked off of the line through some tight trees in a steep hill. thanks for letting me air my grievances. 😂
Think his biggest flex is just being able to talk normally after ripping it up the mountainside to the camera. I'm the guy that figuratively speaking, sits on the couch and eats potato chips all spring and summer
Remember the groomed trail has two way traffic. Don’t be all over the place, next to your buddy or stomping the throttle leaving a ditch. Ride with trail etiquette. Do what you want in the backcountry
I feel attacked with 1,2,4,6,10 😂
😂😂😂 I’m 1,2, 6,7,8,& 9 🤘🤘😉
I was thinking of watching this video
C'mon Matt! Get off the internet and make me another video for my morning coffee damn it.

I feel attacked. I opened the video while eating a bag of chips 😂
Great video guys. Great things for us to think about and work on
great humor on this video along with great tips and lessons learned.
Thanks for watching 👍
This is so good, especially the knee pads. Once you see a knee cap split wide open from the board you won’t forget it.
Thank you for making these, it's nice to hear all these when starting out in the sport!
Excellent video... great examples. Like how you presented the scenarios.
always enjoy you channel Dude.

Agreed. It sucks when you're doubled up to go do some touring access... and the trail is a bouncy castle.
Great video! Willis , actor of the year 🤘🏼
Always like your videos!

Ridiculous how true every one of these points is…😮😮
Dan casually calling out 75% of his clientele with that first mistake 🤣
Excellent!
What are some good excersizes to do for women to do. I find I'm struggling with the strength to keep wrong foot fwd

6:20 So you were the one who did that lol I passed that on the trail the other day on the same trail
Yep 😂
Had to make an example and that spot is where we always see it happening.
Thanks for watching 🤘

Lol. This weekend was the first time I backed down my ramp with scratcher down. Hooked and twisted sled sideways!😂learn the hard way I guess
The beacon check point is sweet.
In defense of #2, "that guy" is the one who never has to wait for anyone else to be ready 😆
😂😂😂😂😂
You forgot about waiting on the guy with his side panel open most of the day because he’s WAY too picky with his rpm’s
lol that’s so true 😂
Great one for the next round of these!
Thanks for watching ✊
Lol what kind of intro was that!? :P Chips, phone, full mouth. bahaha
Its a hard life but SOMEONE must know ... or even be that guy 🫡
I’ve been that guy many times 🤣
I only do number 3 ill take it!
#10 should be #1. I don’t know how many times I’ve witness that mentality, then on top of it, have to split up a group to search for the jackwagon!
What about the annoying loud can guy? You got one with you now, that's a -1 right there :)
Great video!
#1 on the list should be the mountain can 📣
Trashing the trail!

Don't eat chips while talking lol! Just joking really good video.
lol I know right!! The way we started the video was kinda funny…certainly didn’t mean to start with a mouthful of chips 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for watching 🙏
You forgot. Dont be that guy. That have a can on the snowmobile.
Another words, Dan is tired of the over weight rich guy which is also over 50% of his clients.
