Snowblowing driveways with the Deere x475 after a record-breaking blizzard in RI. If I could do this 365 days out of the year, I would! Most fun I've had in a while.
Great video I too wish it was at normal speed, we can always make it 2x if we want to. Curious how much weight in the box, looks like it could hold a lot?
Which driveway are you referring to in the video and what kind of turn around? 2wd doesn't like turning on snow all that much and making a 3 pt turn each pass would take longer, and making a U shape with the snowblower is messy, they're meant to work in straight passes
@noworriesmate5903 if you've ever blown deep snow with a tractor you'd know a turn around as described wouldn't work lol. Nice idea but doesn't work in practice
Au niveau tracteur et fraise neige, John Degrés est incontestablement le meilleur des investissement; aucune concurrence possible. Honda au niveau fraise à neige appareil sur chaîne ou roue même constat. 2 marques de pro, investissement garantis.
I dont think any snowblower machine operates much faster... but I never claimed it to be the best - it's just what I have, and it gets the job done. I'm sorry to disappoint, Wayne.
I see all these RUclipsrs plowing their massive driveways with like a JD 1025 and it’s so depressing watching those machines be barely more efficient than just shoveling. THIS is what they should be doing. A snowblower is so much faster and efficient and it doesn’t leave huge piles all over your yard that are going to stay until June.
47" blower. No heat - I hop in and out constantly so no need. 2wd gas. Would love to upgrade to a diesel 4wd 4ws but haven't had a real need, this thing's taken all the abuse I've been able to put it through over the past 8 years
@@Michaelzeleznik4765 I've owned an x475 for 8 years now and have always wanted to buy a blower for it but didn't really know its capabilities.. looks like it can handle alot!
@Gwegg's List absolutely! They're tanks. I have a 45 loader for it too. Boy I've put it through hell. I shimmed the hydros so I could lift more and drive faster, haven't found the weak link yet. 2k abusive hrs so far
Video is 2x speed. 0.5 speed will show you real time. I find real time too boring 🤷♂️. If we get any snow this year (highly unlikely) I'll post a real time video for you

I'd guess 4-500 lbs including the box. I made it so you can hang barbell weights on the sides which is very nice and easy to add/remove as needed
I am not trying to be rude but why not put in a turn around instead of backing all the way down the driveway

All the driveways. 😂

I have a JD 2025r And I perfere the same way
What a nice setup. That thing really slings the snow. I d be begging for snowstorms with that thing.

Deere
Thing does a great job.
If you have to speed up the video that must mean the machine doesn't work all that well in real time.

A beautiful John Deere ❤️. I've got the X739 4wd, and 4 wheel steer. Have the 54 inch snowblower on it. Just wish it had a cab on it.

That was close almost rolled it on its side great work not letting that happen
The tractor works flawlessly in the snow. Great job!!❤
That works great....
Real nice video. That cab is a game changer. Heated seat ?
What a beast!
That setup you have is awesome!! That thing just loves eating snow! I wish I had that setup I’d probably drive to where the snow was. Lol
Ever since I bought the thing we get less and less each year! It sure is fun
A few questions..
(1) Is that a 47" blower?
(2) heated cab?
(3) 2WD gas or diesel tractor?

You doing great with that little ”deere”👍🙏🇸🇪👏
Lol, I love snowblowing but hate snow🙂
What trailer setup do you have for transport?
Mission aluminum 6.5x10
Featuring the Mello man
Oh you noticed that? Lmao
@@Michaelzeleznik4765 of course lol
how about some real time video? would show the performance better. this looked like a 1920s pre talkie movie.

@@Michaelzeleznik4765 lol... just found the video speed settings. I will watch it again. Learned something new today.
@robertsavorgnan528 for sure! The frame rate may be awful lol but it'll at least show the performance better
❤ the speed up
A power top chute deflector would be handy for you. What type of rear tires are you using. And did you have chains on.
For sure! I'm running Carlisle versa turfs, they're awesome. No chains or anything other than the weight box
@@Michaelzeleznik4765 ah. I recognize that thread pattern. Yes I’d say they would have great traction.
@@Michaelzeleznik4765 I’ve also looked that tractor up on Tractordata. Not a new machine either. Has diff lock and power steering. Nice.
@Noel Doiron absolutely. She's a 2002 with 2000 abusive hours. Has certainly proved it's reliability
@@Michaelzeleznik4765 well ya gotta like that. 20 year old tractor. I’ve got 11 garden tractors. Nothing as new as yours thou.
Very nice little rig & excellent video 👍
