Just discovered all of his Walk + Sing videos and noticed this one was uploaded on my birthday. This felt very symbolic for me. I've been in an extremely abusive relationship that I stepped out of last year but are still very much processing and healing from. My birthday last year was hard, I felt more like I had died than celebrating another lived year. Now 6 months later I realized in a way I did die and was reborn. "And I stood in the sun and saw myself die" is how I've felt the past couple of months. Seeing Ben sing this, he seemed so free and I felt so free... a soft acceptance of all things past. What I wrote for them is a requiem... A requiem for the relationship and my younger self. Thank you Ben for this wonderful song and live version! Lots of Love to you and everyone reading this
I've been listening to you on repeat for 3 months since I discovered your music Ben - thank you for being the soundtrack to my life right now and for reacquainting me with my love of music. P.s. Love these walk and sing alongs.
Incredible as always, Ben! This song really snuck up on me, it's so powerful when you really listen to it. I love how you sang this version with some added words - 'I was so afraid of angry men THAT what I wrote for them was a requiem'.

I really love the sing and walks! When you’re back home you should do one out bush under the Milky Way!
I audibly said "really? Are you serious?" at your run at the second half of the song. Seriously amazing!!

I just love these live recordings. The variations on the vocals sound great, and really drive home the fact that you are a musician first.
