I came here from watching The Good Doctor. They always have gr8 music and I absolutely love this song. I'm heartbroken because I lost my mom to cancer in Jan of this year (2021) and my birthday is next Tuesday (Nov 23). It's hard without her cuz she was my everything and now I just feel lost. Thanks for the beautiful music...it reminds me to remain hopeful and stay strong. I truly look to the sky and think that she is up in heaven watching over me.. Ur voice is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing your voice with me and the world!

The song so touched me because currently I'm in a tough time in my life. I feel I'm behind depsite all my efforts. At 33; business is stagnant, no wife no partner, and my birthday is June 23rd. The part of the song that says "...don't loose faith, go hide your face" is a message particularly for me.

I talked to my mom a few days ago about how I wasn't feeling well. Lost, lonely, and "It's really hard to have to be strong all the time, you know?" I knew she'd know. She's such a strong person and has put up with so much crap from everyone, and worked so hard to not try and put any of that burden onto anyone. I always feel a little bad now-a-days coming to her with my emotional stuff because I don't want to add any more weight on her shoulders. I'm 23 now and should be able to handle my own stuff a little better, right?
Today she sent me this video with the message "I love you!"
Now I'm a crying mess, lol.
I’m not sure why, but your comment really resonated with me, maybe it’s because we’re both 23, maybe it’s because I’ve felt like this more times than I can count! But after all the ups and downs of my life, I’ve come to the conclusion that we will always need someone to help bear the burdens, no matter how old or experienced we are. Yes, complete self sufficiency would be more convenient, but we’re human, we need others. All we can do is be thankful we do have someone to run to for help, and look out for those who don’t have anyone. There are far too many slipping under the radar.
Also a final little note, I’m a Christian so I like bible verses. 2 Corinthians 1:3-7 comes to mind, and I just thought I’d share it, if anyone was interested, it’s a great little passage about finding God’s comfort in trials and then comforting others 😊
As a mom of a 21 year old married daughter who lives with anxiety - believe me when I say moms never tire of their children in any way. You are our greatest achievement, our lightest burden (and I don’t mean burden in a bad way). We will always be your satellite 💕

Trust you aren't alone. I'm 30 about to be 31 next week and it's still hard. Anxiety and depression aren't easy things to deal with and it's pk not to be okay. Parents are there to listen and they hurt when we hurt. They just want us to be okay. Try a therapist since you feel u are burdening your mom but trust I highly doubt that. Good luck and stay blessed!

I spent the last few weeks sick, in and out of the hospital, in a new place trying to find reasons for illnesses old (that have plagued me for years) and new. I am still struggling with recovery (if we can call it that). And all through this, there was many a point where I felt lonely and without anyone to fall back on for support. I missed the people I consider "Home", dearly. This song came to my notice then. It immediately found a place in the handful of songs that are meaningful to me. Feels like a warm hug. Thank you! ♥️
