julian langston and if you've ever watched his shows he talks about regional differences and specialties. He's lived in Mexico and traveled extensively there.
Try a Chile mocajete with that taco its similar to the salsa huebona but in my opinion it has the nicest rustic flavor i love this salsa on my meaty tacos even if there mushrooms
Woodfired but also uses the microwave? No chef needs a microwave oven. I put their use in restaurants right there with the nasty butane or propane torching of food that leaves a unburnt fuel taste that you're supposed to happily ignore.
It's great seeing vegetarian options.
Yes I agree I eat meat but these are wow the mushrooms speak for themselves not other food
Aah so nice to find an older, under appreciated vegan recipe. Thanks Rick!
I wish I could 'like' this a hundred times! Thank you SO much Chef.
I love this taco! I'm going to add a little queso on top though - Cotija sounds good.
Really like this style of vegetarian cooking.
Rick! Made this today with some grilled corn on the cob. It was a smash!
Thank you Chef!! I think I'll make these today! Love this channel!
I'm a bit shocked at the low following Rick has on RUclips. He's the master of Mexican
Maxican cooking is not a single format. It has a huge variety.

He is bad 2 the bone in cooking!!!!!
Looks terrific. I would sprinkle some granulated Parmesan on the mushroom. 👍
Happy to see a vegetarian taco make the Taco Tuesday segment. I'll try this on Memorial Day :)
im a big fan, awesome food
A good anytime taco Rick.
Tried this last year. I need to try it again.
Just made the lazy ass salsa, but I roasted the ingredients over mesquite. Killer.
Looks delicious 🤤
My favorite
I've found that some of the best food is also very messy... I don't know if that's scientific but I bet most of you will agree!

Not that I know nuthin', but that taco looks like it is begging for some queso fresco, or cotija, or queso Chihuahua.
