- We got bloody chased by wild elephants in Sri Lanka!
Today we headed out to explore rural Sri Lanka yet again, it really does never get old.
Leesh really wanted to see some wild elephants so off we went into the national park and that certainly happened ahah. Not gonna lie I thought it was all over when I saw one of the beasts charging towards us on our little scooter.
What a flippin day 🇱🇰

but there are some places like pinnawala, that you can go near them, pet them, wash them or heck even ride them.

Never ever stop near the wild animals (Elephants). There are many Elephants attacks those who try to get selfie or try to feed the wild Elephants. Stay safe guys.🥰

Try to witness Massive Wesak Celebration in May 23,24 whole city of Colombo. Very colourful Buddhist events. All Free foods, snacks, drinks, oriental foods.. lots of decorations,music, drama, events .

Always be cautious and avoid getting too close to wild animals. Always be ready to escape from wild elephant attacks. They may be big and fat, but they are much quicker than you can imagine. 🐘🐘😍

How scary it was one of the rarest experiences anyone could ever have. Even Sri Lankans cannot have such an experience among elephants.

The elephant that charged at you guys might be a younger one and the other elephant came across telling the younger one to stop chasing. Judging from the video 😅😅😅

Yeah u can see in the rear view the left elephant came direct at the elephant that was charging almost telling to go join the herd 😂😂
@@EllisWRBro, next time rent discover, pulsar or honda bike with clutch. Scooters can be easily stuck in these incidents because of the quick gas because this bike has rubber belt. I have seen lots of times how bad it is .. be safe and rent good bike

Those village houses and buildings you called were made with mud are actually called "wattle and daub", which is an old construction technique. You may look it up.

She was excited to see elephants in the last video, but after what happened in this video , I think she doesn't want to see elephants again 😂. This is the best way to experience elephants right ; the experience is priceless. I saw two elephants as well, a couple of days ago near the Habarana road.

Guys please be careful, when they charge, it’s lightning quick and you will never realise how fast they can be. As you see Elephants are very brave animals and there are mostly few in their herd try to stop aggressive ones. That’s normal behaviour in many cases. But it was a very close call. Learn something from that. There were few attacks on tourists very recently. Stay safe and enjoy the country🇬🇧

Damn, that's crazy. Always seek help and ask for directions from locals. Most people are friendly and genuine. Whenever you are traveling on roads infested with elephants, try to follow a big vehicle like a bus or truck, as elephants are afraid of them. Enjoy!

That was a female elephant herd, the one charged at you might be the Alpha, they are intelligent & maybe she saw you guys passing twice across their territory and was curious. The reason she charged at you was a warning not to mess around.
