Thanks for getting this, Tim! This isn't the only "right way" to find basic stretch, but it's a great method to learn how to connect based on distance. Some things I've been noticing: -both leaders and followers squeezing back with their arms to try and create a tense "post" right on count 4 -leaders drifting toward their followers and floating every anchor, not building stretch over two beats before redirecting, then abruptly pulling on one -followers not filling space or seeking connection, and stopping even moving their feet if their leader stops moving toward them Learning to connect this way is very good for getting out of all three of those habits, and feeling how stretch can increase when your center moves away from your partner.
