3:39 I believe this is the second time Lucifer uses "Oh God" instead of the usual dad or my father. (the first time in season 1 when Chloe came on to him while drunk). You know things are serious when Lucifer uses the G word.
I love musicals and I loved this episode. Anyone saying they hate musicals, you just haven’t watched the right one yet. I promise you, there is no way to truly hate musicals

Thing I love about this episode is that usually with TV musicals it's just random singing and dancing at certain points, without any real rhyme or reason. They gave them a good excuse on this one. God made em do it! :)

She was a pop star in the late 1980's and 1990's... She is 51 and looking good.
Really?! It is quite a throwback for me since I did not follow her career that much (even if I liked her music a lot as a teen); I would not have recognized her. It is a nice addition to this episode, tho.
I didn't recognize her til she started singing
Don't you just salivate for the moment when Ella, who is having a crisis of faith, gets to meet God? What an amazing thing for such an innocent soul as Ella - it just HAS TO HAPPEN! Of course she wouldn't necessarily realize who he really is...or would she? Ella is my favorite character on the show, so I hope she eventually gets to know the truth about everything.
During Another One Bites the Dust, Lauren German improvised the dance move where she bends over and rubs up against Lucifer. That look Tom gave was a real reaction.

This is where you are wrong. Lauren can sing and her voice is nice (I saw one video behind the scenes), she just doesn't want to do that. Issues with the public, unfortunately 😢

I was so hyped for you to watch this episode Dak. I hate musicals but I loved this show, especially Lucifers version of Wicked Game and Ella and Maze's mix. Maze is so sexy.

Usually, musical episodes are the most hated ep. of all time but somehow this episode I really liked.
I don't think that I ever watched better musical episode in any series that had one! They did fantastic job 🔥 I love the song choices and all performances.

I know what I am going to say here is a possible "ban able" offence but I did not like how Linda reacted to Amenidiel's reaction to Charlie being human. She did not even try to take Amenidiel into account at all she just didn ot think which which is something out of character for her.
as a mod on here it's a completely ok argument and i'd say not a ban-able offence

It’s not out of character at all, he straight up called her and their son weak and useless basically, he was disappointed that their son would have to grow up human but she doesn’t know that when it’s not translated right, that’s the issue

It's still funny that people think being human single parent is the same as being the creator of all things and connected to everything and everyone at all times and being responsible for everything

Agreed. The self importance of parents in general simply 'cause they did the most basic human thing is hilarious and very pathetic indeed.
But I don't think there is something about these two things being the same... Being single parent is normally hard and complicated for a human. Chloe compared God being father with her own situation, because that's what she knows and we are talking about God - creator of all things, someone who supposed to know everything and supposed to be just better than any human being, but here we met God who is seriously really bad as a dad. Comparing him and Chloe as a parents - she def wins that.
@@TheShiawasena Ok, I will say this in God's defense, Chloe had an excellent father figure (her mom.. not so much), she lives in a society that does value parenting and she is also not a single parent. She does have Dan (they just never show him being a parent). She has all of these parental influences where God does not. God was the first parent he can not look to his father for tips.
@@MartinShanti I don’t think it’s the most basic human thing because there are people out there, myself included, who are not able to have children or are not likely to have children. Therefore it doesn’t not make it the most basic human thing. And anyways having children and taking care of them isn’t easy. For God or a normal human it’s hard.
