In 1990, Penguin Apparels became India’s first garment manufacturer to set up operations in Madurai, a small town located in Tamil Nadu. Despite initially facing challenges regarding access to essential technology and a skilled workforce, after nearly three decades the company has successfully navigated its way not only to strong profitability, but also to true sustainability.
