- This week, I show you how I restored and transformed my 2 year old rusty dryer on a budget with Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy spray This set was gifted to me as a BRAND NEW set but the dryer now has some scratches and rust stains from placing random items on top of it .
I used water, Bar Keepers Friend , Rustoleum Appliance Epoxy & a lot of elbow grease for this project and I am amazed with he results !

Wow! I have the same exact set from Maytag. This is 10000% identical to the washer dryer combo I purchased brand new in 2009 at Best Buy like over 11 years ago. Maytag didn't change much. Wow!!!No rust except in the inside top about the size of two quarters. I did use your method and touched it up. Thanks for the vid and my set still going strong 11 years later!!👍
It's from wet clothes being put on top of the dryer straight from the washer. Also, laundry baskets being placed on the washer chip and wear the paint away. Since the washing machine lid needs to be opened from the top, that's why you don't have the same damage on that machine. Nobody puts anything on top of a washing machine.
Sounds like there was a lot of hanky panky going on top of that
machine.😆

It’s best to mask off area and washer to protect from over spray, also, wear a face mask for protection to prevent inhalation of paint fumes/chemicals.
Selling my home and was looking for a way to save my dryer top! I think the damage to ours is from bottles of cleaners on top, living in humid Florida and kids (I blame them😆). Thanks for the vid and your singing was the best part!

Hi, Funny I came by your video (I am now subscribed) because I just bought the white appliance paint for my dryer. Living in HUMID S. Fla its in worst shape than yours but works great. Thanks for the tip on the Bar Keeper's Cleaners, did not know them but will buy them!!!

we tend to use dryer top as a work surface- just cover it first and eliminate this problem

save money use comet or baking soda and any appliance enamel or just enamel white
