First violins were overpowering the cellos a bit like when cellos have their melody, all you could hear is first violin but really, it was really good! Everybody bowing at the same time is pretty hard to do! Even for practicing a piece for a long time!
Last week our orchestra played The Sorcerers Apprentice at the Arlene Snitcher hall by Paul Dukas and it was even more amazing! And I am in 7th grade! We are so much better! Isn't it great to flex and show off??
@@penguinyen645Not entirely, there are way more violins than cello and viola so I think violins should’ve played a bit more P than usual so you can still hear viola and cello, know?
The highest actually is grade 5 (I believe) for orchestras. There may be grade 6 pieces out there, but grade 5 pieces are hecka hard for orchestras. Check this out. ruclips.net/video/Jxy9uwKkXbQ/видео.html
Wow, is that the best you can do? Last week our orchestra played The Sorcerers Apprentice (which is a professional classical piece) at the Arlene Snitcher hall by Paul Dukas and it was even more amazing! And I am in 7th grade! We are so much better! Isn't it great to flex and show off?!?!
@@Alan-xe4st You know, classical orchestral pieces are even more difficult. That is actually not difficult at all! Here, this was my orchestra playing Brahms. Check it out! ruclips.net/video/Xbsla8G_kV4/видео.html. Oh, don't you just love showing off some Tchaikovsky? But then again, you might not even know who that is!

What about the violas?
Now that I think about it, yeah the violas were being drowned out a bit
violas dont exist
ling ling disapproves of viola
@@idkwhattoputhere5503 how dare you violas are superior!
Agreed
Great string playing, as ever
Today our sixth grade orchestra played it and it was almost as good as this orchestra! This is amazing!

Honestly I remember playing this song and omg I loved it so much haha
IT'S A PIECE!!!
Sounds great and the kids are loving what they’re doing! You can tell they have an amazing teacher!
kinda sad that the cellos didn't take full advantage of their part though
dang. If that’s the advanced orchestra I wonder how many ppl are in the concert one.
I love how you can hear each type of instrument
I love you guys and I'm crying... this is so amazing, this is what our kids work for. My son was playing it too.
Im in 7th grade and I played this
Jk your performance is still great
It sounds so clean but the violins projected way too much.
They projected just the right amount IMO, but everyone else seemed sheepish and nervously quiet so it made the violins seem overbearing
that could be a problem with the cello and violas not making enough sound instead of the violins making too much

We playing this in 7th grade concert orchestra (which is un advance
Oh wow, that's pretty impressive. You must have had a great teacher.
7th grade is intermediate?
It’s probably different for each school
Is this really Grade 3? We got the music today and got through the entire thing close to flawlessly!
@@dnyriaforris2404 he talking about the ranking of the piece, this piece is grade 3, which is kinda medium difficult.
@@nubmaster696 In band it goes up to 6, in orchestra the highest is 3 :p

We played this in the unadvanced 6th grade orchestra

ruclips.net/video/Xbsla8G_kV4/видео.html. We played this some time ago. Isn't it just so much better????!!!!
