Cpt. James Cutter: “We are just one ship… and an old one at that. But here we are. Thirty years past what anyone could ask of us. Our war is gone. The lives we had are gone. The worlds we knew have moved on. And now, all that we may have left are those standing beside us and the duty that defines us - battle after battle, fighting side-by-side together. Where you see half a crew, Isabel, I see family, courage, and a thousand heroes who swore to fight their way through hell before they’d ever turn their backs and run. And where you see one old ship… I see home. And that is always worth fighting for! If we don’t stop Atriox now, we leave the galaxy at the mercy of a monster. So no, Isabel. We won’t be running anywhere today.”

Star Trek: Enterprise is very early in the Star Trek timeline, following the NX-01 Enterprise (earth’s first warp 5 capable ship).
The federation doesn’t exist yet. Humanity’s only extraterrestrial allies are the Vulcans; it’s so early Human ships don’t have energy shields or photon torpedos yet and transporters are only for cargo and not people.
Through the show you see first contact with the Klingons, Romulans and others. Captain Archer helps forge Earth’s first alliances beyond the Vulcans which lays the foundation for the United Federation of Planets.
Overall I really like the show, it can be a little hit or miss at times but the final season is excellent, probably one of the best in any Star Trek series.

I like that it has factories on board. A lot of sci-fi assumes re-supply but given the distances involved, a self-sufficient colony style ship makes more sense even if it a warship or other non-colonization purpose.

If I was commanding a core world shipyard I would’ve concentrated on building militarized colony ships with Marathon dual MAC guns extra reactors feeding the MACs directly to reduce recharge time and fire consecutive shots. Vanadium hull bracing for extra durability with over 2M of titanium A armor.

I been playing that game for like 3 years already and really like it, there is many nice Capital ships there built for war with their Lore and designs, that may be worth a video, thanks anyways, keep the good work.

Can we just appreciate that this ship and its crew (1) *SURVIVED several Flood encounters* and decimated an entire Forerunner fleet, (2) wasn't built for war but endured 80 years past its creation and service as a colonial ship, (3) is captained by a man who is born from Reach - the military capital and fallen world of humanity, (4) houses its own team of Spartan IIs by chance, (5) slingshotted its way around a dying star as a jump-start into a 28-year-long limping journey back to populated space, (6) IMMEDIATELY rejoined the fight for humanity after realizing "oh we won the last war, what's one more?" and (7) has perhaps the best musical score of any game or ship in the series. Chief, Keyes and the Pillar of Autumn were cool, but Jerome, Cutter and the Spirit are absolutely based, goated and red pilled.
