I just tried this in 2020 and I have to say, this actually works. I was still left with water at the bottom though, however you can clearly taste the difference between leaving them for seven minutes and just eating after adding water. I do not mind the water, that is a delicious drink for after the noodles.

Just made my first pot noodle, absolutely obliterated the first attempt, followed the pots instructions, it come out like a big casserole of watery confusion, binned that little fella and found this video, all I can say is sir you are a schollar and a Saint . 2nd attempt come off like a dream im sitting here in noodle heaven

I do this
Peel the lid but it's still on.
Pour hot water
Wait 2 mins
Stir and add sauce
Wait until noodles are soft.

One of the finest videos on youtube. Just searched this up before I make a pot noodle or two of my own. Now this might sound insane, but sometimes I only fill the water level to like 1/2mm above the noodle level pouring very very slowly and in a sort of a circle/spiral shape to get them all soaked. I feel like this makes the flavour more intense, but if done wrong and too little water is added it seems to make it not as enjoyable. Anyway I'm glad theres some pot noodle pros like yourself out here who really know how to make these properly lmao. Why people think they're shit is usually because they are not doing it right at all haha.
Not enough water for me tbh I like to eat the noodles then drink the juice after I fill mine almost to the top then close the lid for 10 mins then add sauce

I do similar but place a cup coaster over the lid+sachet and as I love strong flavours, add about a 3rd of an OXO (respective flav) or stock cube. Try it and do your flavour a favour 😙

I always leave the foil lid attached, so as to "steam" the noodles.Saves using a saucer, which you would have to wash later...I'm surprised that the pot noodle company doesn't recommend leaving the foil lid attached....

If you want to eat it quick like in 4 minutes then it’s probably best to just follow the instructions on the pot but if you want a proper pot noodle that takes about 7 minutes and tastes better then use this instruction, thanks for uploading!

I just did a creamy carbonara, it said leave for 5 minutes, I forgot and left for 15 minutes! With the lid on it was still hot and tasty.
