Man i wish i could afford this body armor right now boy the stuff i could accomplish
Try to put the vest on you see if it goes through thank you. I would like to see that.
Shoot your level 3A + with a compound hunting bow 60lb. draw weight with field points and fixed broadheads at 10 yards.
THAT is what people wonder about, all the rest we have seen already. No ballistic plate, just the soft armour.
Great video
Woah the 3a stopped ALL the rounds without being ripped to shreds? I thought after 10-15 rounds a vest would lose its ability but i guess not, good job with the mosaic too
its 3a+ not 3a
@@ryangreen6250 The first vest was IIIA (Stopped all those pistol rounds). Second was IIIA+ That stopped all the FN/Civil Rounds. Third was IIIA+ With Addition to the IV Plate that stopped all rifle rounds

@Jay Luaulu ouch. 7 times. Damn.
The impact from that slug would blow your heart to shreds.
That’s why you need a plate or hope and pray to God that splinter doesn’t touch your heart.
With body armor, no. And plus, it's actually possible to survive a shotgun wound without body armor but you'll be in a serious coma.
@@noidontwantit the amount of force from stopping a shotgun slug with SOFT armor just might.
Great video, very informative...thank you!🤙🏽

You say no soft armor can stop rifle rounds. Yet there is another video showcasing soft armor from you claiming to stop rifle rounds
“Yeah, that’s hot” very astute observation, my good man
So no one one is talking about why your camera guy is in front of your shooting range ??
I’d be interested in seeing how it defends against steel core 7.62x54r surplus ammo
Stops it
If it stops black tip 30-06 54r has no chance.
Fras + level 4 plate? 🤔
Safelife guy "no soft armor in the world can stop 223, 556 or 762"
Safelife engineers "hold my beer"
*invents flexible rifle armor*
lol right he made himself heat his own words XD for the good of everyone else. i saw a fras take a blue tip 30-06 round to the hip side in a video. was pretty impressive
I received my Plates today from safe life defense and I am VERY DISSAPOINTED that they are made in CHINA! I actually thought they would be made in the USA!
Will it save your life though?
Does it defend against dogs
Great stuff. I just applied for your GA program.
Just bought one. Shout out to Dachief
Anyone know what stock is on the 223 rifle?
Its a Cobalt Kinetics
People,just remember:This is so meat doesn’t get torn to shreds,but doesn’t mean u won’t die,and it doesn’t mean you’ll b ready to shoot back.Tell that to every game in existence 🙃
I would actually suggest that u guys increase the the protection coverage specifically on the front and back neck area and sides and add level 3a+ armor paddings on shoulder straps. Another suggestion would be to be able to place level 4 plates on the side. But overall its a great product.
Great Armor, Even Better Gun Collection!
Great!
I got the III A+ and the plate. Great video.
Fonz carrillo So how is it???
I want them to try .270 Winchester, 6-6.5 creedmoor, .338 lapua, and last but not least 408 cheytac.
You guys should also invest for shoulder pads, leg pads, pretty much a whole armor suit! 😍
How much does the iiia+ vest weigh? What about the rifle plates?
So handsome demo....
It looked to me like the slug on the 3a+ was sticking out of the dummy center mas
Exactly what I saw at 9:20 in how could that have been missed?
What happened to the $399 price tag?
Demand went up. Late reply, I know, but I just bought my wife and I one of these each.
For fact purposes, Lehigh is pronounced Lee high, I live in the town where its made. Love your armor, just ordered a vest from y'all.
Never knew that! This was my first time ever shooting any of their ammo. Nice! What did you get?
Tactical MultiThreat IIIA. I'm an EMT and my squad is slowly transitioning to everyone wearing vests so I figured it was time for me to as well, and after a lot of research I liked what i saw with your armor the best.

I’d like to see your armor tested against 50 BMG, 6.5 CM and the new 6 ARC. Please
Very good video but this is before you came out with the FRAS armor. FRAS is probably the best way to go even though it is 3X the cost. FRAS along with the lvl 4 plates will make you feel invincible haha.
I feel like after the FRAS got released this video needscto be remade
FRAS is not soft armor since they do contain ceramic plates on them, but
Thank you.
So can I put the plates in any plate carrier
I wanted the Fras. If I was in a city, I’d get it. But I just ordered this setup.
Is it wrong that I'm a kid and I'm already saving up for one because I wanna be a cop?
Evan Hall-Kennedy no it’s not wrong
no need to buy/save for your own yet, talk to your parents on how to become one.
No, just don't turn into a tyrannical pos like some cops. Remember, you'd be there to help the people, not oppress them. some cops forget that.
You don’t need to be a cop to have body armor, just make sure it’s NIJ certified ruclips.net/video/0u8teXR8VE4/видео.html

Im convinced and i want to order but what if the vest does not fit me? Can i return it and get another? And how many times would i be able to do this before you guys get tired of me if you allow it?
No soft body amor will stop rifle rounds till y’all invented soft body armor FRAS soft body amor that within stand 223 556 .308
I gotta get mines
I have purchased my tac vest with lvl4 rifle plates front and back. Customer service was great and You guys even gave me the law enforcement discount which was awesome with free shipping! So I purchased the tac belt also. But my question is...I want to see which level can stop my .50 AE full metal Jacket!? 3? 3A? 3A+? Or lvl 4?
Awesome thank you! All of those can stop 50ae!
Would love to see a video with the .50AE and .500 against the vest. I'm sure the blunt force trauma would probably kill a person just the same but still love to see how much backface deprivation it would cause.
Just got a safelife level 3A plus tactical vest!! But it’s taking forever to get to me.
Keep up the good work
I'm getting the 3a+ I would of got 4 but didn't see it on website?
Myself as a volunteer firefighter would like to see the first responder vest being tested can you test the vest with a 338 Lapua Magnum
They use the same panels in both the concealable carrier and first responder carrier, so the performance will be identical. No, .338 Lapua Magnum is, obviously, way, WAY more than this vest is rated to stop. This vest will not even slow down .338 LM (and it's not supposed to).
What it feel like getting shot with these regular vs steal plate?
Well, it's not scientific, but I'd believe that ceramic would feel less since the ceramic is deforming and absorbing energy that way, steel is rigid and will transfer all the energy to your body.
Maybe its because its on a body that's like 3 in thick but the neck line looks pretty low. Leaving the heart area exposed. will that go away on a thicker body?
Can you test a vest against .22tcm9r in 2011 5 inch 40 and 39 grain as well as in the tactical rifle 51110 rifle from rock island I have shot is against an out of date iiia+ expired vest with a single trauma plate the first rocket shatter the plate and went though the front plate the second went throught the soft armor and a 5 gallon bucket of water and stopped in the back plate . Also I tested the same vest against a .17hmr Amd .17wsm 20 grain fmj in all cases it went through front and back plates I think you IV will stop it but I’m not sure your iiia+ will.
You need to update statement the "no soft body armor will stop 5.56/223" since Safe Life Defense has flexible soft body armor that is rifle rated. The FRAS body armor will stop it.
Please explain at 9:20 in there is clearly a round in your ballistic dummy.
Looks more like stuff that came off the back of the vest to me. When you get hit with something with as much kinetic energy as a 12 ga. slug, any soft armor vest is still going to have damage from the hit. If you got hit by a 12 ga. with a 1oz slug, I would expect the bullet would not pass through the vest, but you would almost certainly have a massive bruise, if not broken bones.
The Hard Rifle Plate Level IV ICW has a thickness of 18mm while the SPARTAN SAPI CUT has a thickness of 22.86mm.
They are both IV level plates but the Hard Rifle Plate Level IV ICW (the one Safe Life defense sells) claims: "In conjunction with an Level iiia or iiia+ vest our hard rifle plates protect the wearer against rifle threats up to 30-06 armor penetrating rounds." Does that mean that the Hard Rifle Plate Level IV ICW can't stop 30-06 armor penetrating rounds on its own while the SPARTAN SAPI CUT can?
Also, the Hard Rifle Plate Level IV ICW has a thickness of 3.10mm per pound while the SPARTAN SAPI CUT has a thickness of 2.93mm per pound so the Hard Rifle Plate Level IV ICW wins in terms of thickness per pound ratio and the Hard Rifle Plate Level IV ICW is about half the cost of SPARTAN SAPI CUT per plate.
What does ICW stand for?
@@terekv4785 In Conjunction With
Do they defend against black tip 30-06 ? ??
The level 4 plate does yes
Not saying they don’t work but you really don’t show the non penetration... you put your fingers in the holes of the mesh and said there was none without showing... just sayin.
I wonder if soft bidy armor can stop h&k mp7 4,5x30
I'm in Las Vegas, if you don't mind me asking where is that location.
Try upping things a bit. Like 5.56 green tip, or 7.62x25 Tokarev. Tokarev has double the penetration of the magnums you tested. I also would have liked to see it tested against the 7.62x54R. Next tim ed try REALLY putting your armor to the test until something goes through.
Is this in conjunction with the IIIA or IIIA+?
Sure it can withstand various bullets, but what about hunting arrows?
Soft armor can't, but hard armor can
SOLD!
Can we like see level 4 stop 10 rounds of different bullets??
Hi just wanted to know and confirm if your soft ballistic panels are of SPEAR/BALC cut/shape because I found an alternate carrier for it which is the condor exo plate carrier?
What are the plates only 10 x 12 size? I am bigger. 6ft 3. 240 Lbs. I measure 12W x 14H or so
Can we see a video on the first responder vest or the other ones? You guys only show the concealable vest on video.
They use the exact same panels so they will perform the exact same way. But we will make some anyway!
what round did you shoot with the fn ps90
what about NIJ certification? and how is the backface deformation, that can deadly. way more info then this needs to be shown this is not impressive.
Can you make a steel version of level 4
Thanks for the request! However we will never make steel armor. It’s just not as practical as other alternatives. Why is stew what you are looking for specifically?
Safe Life Defense I was just think maybe a stand-alone version for level 4 armor
This guy kinda looks like one of the quebecans on letterkenny lol
Id just replenish my shield plates lol
Lol 9mm affordable and common in America not in 2020
So the last vest being the level IV plate, was that combined with the level IIIA or level IIIA+ soft body armor? just wondering
That one was iiia
thank you I'm saving up for one but i hope i can also do that setup with a IIIA+ w/ level IV plates
You absolutely can and it will be a bit more protective as well!
@Safe Life Defense: Would this work with stand alone lvl 4 plates from any other company? I'm assuming your ICW can't be used as stand alone (hence ICW), but with your 3a vest performs as stated. Is it a safe bet to assume that it will work even better with stand alone level 4 plates...?
I would like to know also
When he says if you look very closely you can see the steel perpetrator at 13:49 in the video, you cant see the perpetrator but you can see the ground underneath it. Meaning, the 30-06 AP round passed through the plate completely. So how is this rated to stop it? Did it stop it with the soft armor (icw) behind the rifle plate?
What you're looking at is the crushed up ceramic tiles not the ground. If you look at the back of the plate, it's deformed but not penetrated
Would I need trauma pads with this setup?
What fn rounds did you shoot from the ps90? Law enforcement only?
The LEO only is the only one that will make it through with the PS90. We used the standard 27gr FN round.
I was wondering what armor I should get for my cousin he’s a Police Officer in Ukraine and stands on a road block and with everything going in Ukraine their Department didn’t have enough vests
I have question is there anything higher than its level 3 A+
IIIa is the highest grade of soft body armor. It will stop all "pistol-caliber" threats, but will fail to stop any "rifle-caliber" threat. If you want rifle protection, you need level III or IV hard armor plates (note that level IIIa is LESS than level III).
We can get the 3a plus the level 4 plates ?
Absolutely!
In fact, the plate is only level IV when it is worn above the level 3A or 3A+ plate.
Try 300 Win mag.
I only came to comment this guy kinda looks like lui calibre 😂
The real reason he's not youtubing

@@SafeLifeDefenseBodyArmor You're good. Just bought one of your IIIA vests, by the way. Looking forward to getting it! Your customer service is very friendly.
Very interesting testing. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Most level lv plates are stand alone why is yours in conjuction with? A stand alone would be better
By making ICW (In Conjunction With) level 4 plate they can decrease the weight and thickness required to make functional plate (most standalone level 4 plate weight 7-8 lbs and have thickness of 1 inch, while this plate weight less than 6 lbs and have thickness of 0.7 inch).
Level 4 standalone plate are great if you wearing plate carrier (which typically don't have inherited ballistic protection), but Safe Life Defense only make bullet resistant vest (their level IIIA, level IIIA+ and FRAS) so after many decision consideration they most likely decided to put their consumer first before move to anything else (hence they created level 4 icw plate for their body armor, since the one that's gonna use it will be most likely to be their consumer).
@@zidniafifamani2378 i ordered the level 3a+ from safe life but im thinking about the botack battle steel composite lvl 4 plates stand alone 5.5 lbs and .8 inch thick mr. Guns &gear did a review on them at $99 a piece and 5.5 lbs and stand alone i think thats better than $169 a piece and icw plates. Check out the video by mrgunsngear and let me know what u think.
@@samtaylor7800 from what I can tell, if you want plate as precaution better safe than sorry go to battle steel composite level 4. If you want plate because you expect yourself to getting shot at a lot go to safe live defense level 4 (unlike most level 4 plate that consist of monolithic ceramic tiles, sld plate consist of many small ceramic tiles called mosaic that localized the damage in one spot instead of spreading it like typical ceramic insert, making it able to endure much more hit over the plate area).
Does it stops 22 Magnum? If not does the level 3A+? I already ordered the carrier but deciding on 3A or 3A+ of course I would have gone with 3A+ but I'm on a tight budget at the moment
Bones 2 beinkvbb. M.
As much as i would say these products are amazing, it doesnt cover much of your torso at all most especially the level 4 plate, any criminal can just aim somewhere thats not covered with armor and your pretty much done for.
That's where sistuational awareness come in having a side arm always keep your hand clear also the vest is better to have one than not know strengths and weaknesses of all and you but you did make a point have a great one
armor is there to prevent an instantaneous death blow, it's not there to cover every inch of your body. you wouldn't be able to move.
