Good choice Kirsten for top 10
Aladdin animated series
Jumanji animated series
Hercules animated series
6!
you forgot to add Little Shop of Horrors aka Little Shop Animated Series to the list
Back to the future
I remember watching Beetlejuice all the time on Cartoon Network when I was a kid😊I miss the old times when shows and cartoons were good😊
Nice
100% agree now it’s all fart and poop jokes and bad comedy
Same same and same
I miss the good old days too.
I’m in the high school I watched the Beetlejuice show when I was in middle school
You should include Men In Black The Animated Series based on Men In Black The Movie. It premiered on Saturday mornings on Kids WB and lasted for 4 seasons with 53 episodes
I remember watching the show when I was a kid
Since it's not, I guess people know about it. You sure do.
In late 2000, Nickelodeon later aired the show in reruns.
@@EpixAndroid yeah in 2002. I was surprised that MIB The Series was on Nickelodeon before and it was always in my mind but I’m glad I did some research on it.
Yes
I loved watching Beetlejuice cartoon. And Disney had so many The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Hercules. The 80’s and 90’s were a great time to be a kid.
The "Ghostbusters" and "Jumanji" cartoons were my jams growing up. I hope that some episodes are still available to watch online.
Jumanji can be watched on tubi.
There's a channel on RUclips simply called "Ghostbusters" that plays episodes of the animated series.
I have both shows on DVD.
I used to watch the ‘Beetlejuice’ animated show when I was a little boy, but I need to watch it again in the future.
Agreed, I can't believe that I'd forgotten that it was a cartoon at one point!
AVGN did a video on Saturday morning cartoons and I believe he mentioned that the animated series is only available on DVD (not streaming or anything else).
I miss the 80s and 90s cartoon era 😭😭
Hell, who doesn't?
Me too
So do I😢
I loved The animated series for The Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice and Back To The Future! i used to watch those cartoons all the time growing up!!! such nostalgia!!!
Just to think the Back to the Future cartoon was one of the first time you see Bill Nye.
I absolutely loved the Beetlejuice and Little Mermaid cartoons as a kid 😊
2004’s ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ is also one of my most favorite comedy movies.
Too bad the animated series got canceled.
Many of these are classics! Beetlejuice?! Mask?! They're still rerun today!
I recently turned 40, and I've seen almost every show on this list. You brought back a lot of fond memories from my childhood. Thanks for the birthday present.
@@jwalker3449 Not counting honorable mentions: Godzilla and Jumanji; although I did watch segments of them, during their original run.
Including honorable mentions: Fievel's American Tales, Friday, and Clerks.
I remember watching BeetleJuice on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon!😂🤣❤️📺🎶👍🏻
Godzilla (1998) surely is not the best I’ve seen, but it did introduced me to Godzilla. If it weren’t for that movie, I wouldn’t know the rest that existed. I respected the 1998 film’s existence, and I also thought that its animated series was a nice watch.
An obscure but still very memorable movie turned animated series would be *Osmosis Jones.*
@Comic Taku I for one find it better than the movie.
I am aware of “Godzilla: The Series,” “Beetlejuice: The Animated Series,” “The Mask: The Animated Series,” “Fievel’s American Tails,” “The Little Mermaid: The Animated Series,” and “The Real Ghostbusters.” Those were my favorites. BTW, nice mention of the infamous Pokémon/Digimon war.
Nice
Now let me blow your goddman mind by telling you there was a Free Willy cartoon.
@@tcrpgfan I knew about that.
Rambo?
I loved watching Beetlejuice! Whenever the spooky season is here, I’d watched it every weekdays.
It is so awesome that you included Beetlejuice the series in your list, especially in the top 5! Though I will say that in the cartoon, they call the world that Beej lives in is called the NEITHERworld instead of Netherworld like in the movie. Mostly to make a bigger distinction between the two and to kind of dull the blatant themes of death/dying addressed in the latter.
Loved the Ghostbusters and Beetlejuice animated shows
I absolutely loved that Beetlejuice cartoon
They forgot Hercules, Osmosis Jones and RoboCop.
Totally
I remember quite a few of these, even though some of them were just before my time. The reruns were the only way I knew about them, but they were none the less still fun to watch.
I used to wake up early just to watch the Beetlejuice cartoon and listen to the perfect Danny Elfman
Totally enjoyed the mask animated series 🙂
I remember loving the Beetlejuice Animated Series when I was a kid though I don't know if I saw or loved the movie but I feel like I did.
The Little Mermaid movie and series I especially loved as well.
I'm sure that I also watched the An American Tale series too for something about it feels awfully familiar and I always have loved the movies. :)
Loved the Beetlejuice cartoon series.. have the box set, worth it
I remembered these shows! Beetlejuice, Bill & Ted, and The Real Ghostbusters were my ABSOLUTE favorites!!!
I remember Beetlejuice and The Mask and Ace Ventura, Back to the future, The Little Mermaid and Ghostbusters, these were a part of my childhood
I used to watch all of the top 5. I've been meaning to rewatch the Beetlejuice one because it's meant to still hold up as an adult. I'm sure a lot of the writing went over my head back then.
Top 10 Cartoon Network Halloween Episodes!
Good idea
The original ‘Mask’ comic book version was literally dark and gritty.
The 1994 movie version was PG-13 rated.
The animated TV show was PG-rated.
Ahhh, jumanji the animated series, sutch nice memories ☺️
Me too happy memories
Ghostbusters, Jumanji, The Mask, MIB: The Animated Series, The Mummy Animated Series.
Cool
Pet détective and the mask had a crossover episode in the animated series
I’ve enjoyed what I’ve seen from the Godzilla late 90s animated series
Zilla JR is a better representation of what Godzilla should be, the monster battles are fun and the human characters are pretty interesting
Nick is a good leader and all
But Monique is my favorite of them 😍😍😍
Clerks should have been top of the list!
Also the cancelled Aliens cartoon as well
"The Emperor's New School" and the "Hercules" show did not have as much charm as their predecessors, but they had some good moments.
11:46 Remembered this series, too! This showed on AVM/TIC/NCC/Our T.V. channel 4, looooong time ago......
Loved watching the jumanji animated series whe I was a kid ❤
Me too
I know Evolution and Land Before Time had short lived tv series as well.
And Addams Family had a cartoon series based on the 90s film that did well in its time
I pray for everyone who reads this that whatever they are going through gets better, whatever they are suffering with or worrying about will be okay, and that everyone has a wonderful day. Amen ❤
3:19 Fun fact: there was also a Godzilla animated series in the early 80s.
I thought The Mummy animated series might get mentioned (based on The Mummy with Brendan Fraser). This could've easily been A Top 20 list with so many others included (All Dogs Go to Heaven: The Series, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, The Legend of Tarzan, Jungle Cubs, and probably more).
When I was a kid, I knew about Beetlejuice being an animated series but didn't know about the movie until several years later.
I remember watching The Real Ghost Busters, Back to the Future, Beetlejuice and Jumanji. I think I watched Teen Wolf but I'm not sure.
7:50
You said BEETLEJUICE 3 times SEQUEL OFFICIALLY GREENLIT LOL JK
There was also a Rambo animated series and a Robocop animated series back in the late 80s.Two cartoons based on R Rated films.
I knew Police Acadamy, The Real Ghostbusters, and Beetlejuice as shows long before I knew they were movies. Honestly The Karate Kid was the only one I didn't know had a series.
Godzilla the series was actually really good. I rewatched it recently and it's amazing that the humans really are the main problem solvers. Godzilla fights the monster of the week but it's H.E.A.T. that actually comes up with how to permanently stop it. And it probably handled Nick and Audrey's relationship better than I thought a kid's show could. I remember an episode early on when they were having trouble keeping date plans because of either H.E.A.T. business or sudden calls from the newsroom. But in the end when their relationship seems to be in danger Nick just brings up that there are plenty of working couples who make it work, they just need to put in a bit more effort and understanding. To have any kid's show acknowledge that relationships are complicated rather than just having the "Will they finally get together?" plot going was very original and I thought disserved respect for its willingness to go there.
@MsMojo What about the animated versions of "Beethoven" (1992), "Men in Black" (1997), "Problem Child" (1990), "Spaceballs" (1987) and "The Wizard of Oz" (1939)? Did they get snubbed?
i remember watching the Karate Kid, Police Academy, Beetlejuice, Feivel, Arielle and the Mask. and Ghostbusters even had two TV Shows.
HIGHLANDER also had an animated series
And it was cool too
I am no a superhero fan but I do love The Mask animated series
great video
Muppet Babies was based off of a scene in Muppets Take Manhatten, so it should count, too!
Top 10 Nickelodeon Cartoons from the 2000s!
Are you to young to remember Nickelodeon cartoons from the 1990s
@Marcus Yates yes that would be awesome
@@tiger31623 depends on the show
I know what number one for that list. Avatar the last airbender at number one. It’s pretty obvious.
@@darkjezter163 nickelodeon of the 1990s cartoon doug- rugrats- ren and stimpy, rocko's modern life and ahhhhhh real monsters hey arnold, the angry beaver, CatDog, the wild thornberrys, rocket power do you remember any of them
I watched Godzilla, Beetlejuice, Jumanji, Back to the Future and Real Ghostbusters as a kid, i even have them on DVD
Oh man I loved the mask and ace Ventura cartoons growing up.
Very very great fun list I like it a lot very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever 💗
I watched the Beetlejuice, the Mask and Ghostbusters cartoons, and I saw promos for Jumanji and Bill & Ted.
There’s an MTV live action for Teen Wolf too. It’s more serious and I loved it.
I didn't know that Jumanji or Napoleon Dynamite had cartoons. I don't even know what Friday is but I was aware of the rest of these. In actually used to watch both Back to the Future, Ghostbusters and Police Academy as a kid.
The Beetlejuice animated series was really quite good.
How the heck did you find the footage for all these old cartoons? Are these all on a streaming service or did you record them all when they aired back in the day just to make use of them 2 and 3 decades later?
I remember in the late 1970s, Hanna-Barbera did an animated "Godzilla" series, with his nephew, Godzookie, who provided comedy relief.
Suggestion: Wonder Woman vs. Sailor Moon.
When I was young, I always watch Ace Ventura, Police Adventure and The Mask...they are awesome and funny :D
I remember 7 out of the top 10 and 2 of the honorable mentions. I loved Bill and Ted and Extreme Ghost busters was even scarier than the Real Ghostbusters. Remember when there was an animated series for everything in the 80/90s?
I love little mermaid series and jumanji animated series and I love back to the future animated series
I remember watching cartoons based on neverending story,
Secret garden and evolution also a couple of star wars cartoons, star wars droids (with c3po and r2d2) and star wars Ewoks both being on disney+
I've always loved Napoleon dynamite movie and always loved the series. Too bad that they never made another season. It was getting so good
What I learned from this video: if you were a popular comedy released in the 80s or 90s, you were up for an animated show not long after
10. This was how I found out about Teen Wolf! That theme song was lit!
9. Yeah, I vaguely remember this one. Don't think I ever watched it, though.
8. HELL, YES! PAPA NICO! STAY! STAY!
7. This was such a good spinoff. Pretty sure I still have the episodes downloaded somewhere....
6. Kid me loved the idea of this spinoff, but even at ten I knew it had only the thinnest of connections to the film.
5. Heard of it, never saw it. I think I only became aware of it after it ended.
4. SO GOOD! SO GOOD! SO GOOD! The comic that accompanied it was also awesome!
3. Yes, I do remember this, and that's all I'll say about it. Ditto for the other ones mentioned.
2. YES! The sequel to the trilogy it deserved! Anyone who complains about there never having been a part 4 should watch this. It totally works as a sequel.
1. MY CHILDHOOD! YAY! Love that this show wasn't afraid to go dark.
I watched some episodes of Godzilla the series on youtube. I recall one episode
where Nick and the gang investigated the jungle, from there Godzilla battled a mutated Bee or a Wasp.
Ho Kirsten and love your voice and your channel 😍
100: Wh-wh-wh-wha-wha-WHAAAT?! The Karate Kid? The Karate Kid has an animated series?
My kids and I loved the Beetlejuice cartoon.
Amazing ms mojo of animated series base on popular hit movies, fantastic job. What about LILO and stitch the series, men in black animated series also Aladdin animated series.
As a 90's kid myself, I saw about 3/4 of all these shows, but didn't c every ep.
The fact that Napoleon Dynamite had an animated show blows my mind
They should have included the Little Shop of Horrors animated series. Actually titled ''Little Shop'', it is a prequel loosely based on the original movie musical and includes most of the original characters (except for Orin, Ronnette, Chiffon, and Crystal) as kid versions of themselves (except Mr. Mushnik and other new adult characters). It has 13 episodes and only ran for one season in 1991 before getting canceled.
I remember the Jumanji Animated Series
Teen Titans Go and Beetlejuice had a Crossover Episode called Ghost With the Most
*The Real Ghostbusters was great until the suits at ABC decided to start fixing what wasn't broken, re-casting Lorenzo Music and Laura Summer, making the plots more kid-friendly, and ultimately making Slimer a more prominent character.*
I knew about ALL of these except Teen Wolf, Friday, and Police Academy
10 Knew
9 Knew (eventually)
8 Knew
7 Didn’t know
6 Knew because the animation was nightmare fuel
5 Knew
4 Eventually Knew
3 Knew both
2 Eventually knew
Honourable mentions Who didn’t know about The Little Mermaid series but I admit I didn’t know about the others
1 Who didn’t even know about those series
Rethink your vid title to “probably didn’t” know existed
One film that does have an upcoming series is the DreamWorks film Abominable and it's follow-up series Abominable and the Invisible City is in development, and will be premiering this October on the 4th. If you do a bit of digging you'll already find the episode guide for the first two episodes.
There was also The Mummy, Men In Black, Beethoven, Problem Child
Beetlejuice, Jumanji and Police Academy were the shit when I was a kid… I miss those cartoons…
I knew the Beetlejuice cartoons before the film. I didn't know it was a film until I was 8. So with Beetlejuice it's the other way around also Back to the future I knew the cartoon before the films and I haven't even seen the Back to the Future films. I don't remember the episodes well but I always remember the live action opening and one episode talked about Isaac Newton. I saw the Jumanji cartoon a year before I saw the film. Although the cartoon was only avaliable on a Spanish channel back in 1999 so I didn't understand what was going on back then. I saw the Jumanji film a year later I think on either ABC or KTLA5 in 2000.
I knew about Beetlejuice, Jumanji and Mask. I used to watch them when I was a small (like 5-year-old-ish) kid
Man I'm getting old. I haven't seen almost all these cartoons in years. I'm not sure if most of them hold up well. I have to watch them to see if there good. Anyways, this is a huge nostalgia overload. Good times.
Ghostbusters, Jumanji, Beetlejuice, The mask, The little mermaid series,
Good list, but how about the Men in Black animated series? Or, if you want a more obscure WTF pick, how about Attack of the Killer Tomatoes?
Yes to both 😂
There was a way older animation about Godzilla and there was even a little one jumping around the giant lizard as comic relief.
I’ve seen all these cartoons at least once in my life!
Godzilla The Series was freaking great and Fox did what it usually does and screwed it over by shunting it around the schedule to make room for more reruns of Digimon.
the beetlejuice cartoon was one of my favorite shows when i was younger
King kong got one along side the godzilla series on here
I remember watching some if movies cartoons show as a kid
Obviously The Real Ghostbusters is number one on this list. Egon Spengler was, and always will be my favorite character in the series as well as my father's.
Where:
Evolution
Robocop
Rambo
Tron
Also Star Wars Cartoons
And other Disney afternoon Cartoon like:
Aladdin
Hercules
????
