I'm a big fan of these girls. They are very talented, friendly and beautiful musicians. I missed seeing MiMi acting, always with a beautiful smile.
I don't think you pay attention. They used to have an awesome bass guitar player but she is not on this video. Her musical and physical presence hurt the overall impression.

Damn…. I just discovered these Bad Ass Ladies this morning! Have added some of their tracks to my playlist. Enjoyed their style of progressive jazz with fusion. If they ever tour in the US, will check them out!

I love this song so much. I have listened to it over and over many times. The young lady in the black hat has to be the coolest ever. She is just awesome!! I don’t know what the instrument is that she is playing, but it definitely complements this song so well! Bravo!!
Her name is Shinobu Kawashima and her instrument is the shamisen. This isn't her first time playing with the band. I've been a fan for a couple of years now...
The conversation between the tenor and that shamisen is beyond superb. Musical equivalent of a Shakespeare sonnet right here.
I've only seen her playing bass before now.
