I use a 5/16 8 point socket and a flathead for slacks. Got a whole set of 8 points in a big craftsman set long time ago, really handy when you work on equipment. Another must have is an air powered coolant pressure tester. Saves so much time and energy, and make a lot of $$$ just from finding coolant leaks.

What is the max torque on your snap on your torque wrench and what size is it mate, if your are a mechanic just starting out don’t get sucked into buying snap on tools they are good but there’s also other brands out there that are just as good and there cheaper as well. My toolbox filled with my tools cost me just under 7k (sidchrome) if that was snap on I’d be looking at roughly 28k (got a price from a snap on sales rep in person in Australia) and with your torque wrenches they all need to be calibrated to stay accurate and if there electronic they will need to be charged or replaced battery’s if you read the comments and your starting out or looking at buying a torque wrench hope this helps.

My comment might not get answered I hope so tho. I hear my man saying he needs some tools he's also a diesel mechanic. I be listening to him my question is out of the impact gun which one would be a good one to buy at first?
