  • 8-Ball Finals - In 2001, Roger Griffis and Efren Reyes were the last two standing at the Accu-Stats 8-Ball Invitational. Griffis defeated Reyes earlier in the event, but after all the rounds were completed, these two had identical won-loss records of four wins and only one loss. As a result, a playoff match was required. Enjoy this next encounter!
    Bill Incardona and Tony Annigoni graced the booth.

    I'm very impressed by the professionalism of Roger. He had no lame excuses and accepted his weaknesses in this game. He's a good player and he should feel proud that he did beat Efren a couple of times. Efren, of course, the GOAT, humble yet dominant and fun to watch. Thank you Accu-Stats for these videos, the best for sure.

      @@Krushard Yeah well, the Mandelbrot set looks very cool. I would be willing to bet that there aren't many people out there who know what we are talking about. I wonder if Pat Fleming does?

    Efren Manalang Reyes ("Bata" - meaning “the kid”) arrived in the US during the 1970s and won his way into pool history with a $14.00 Chinese manufactured pool cue he bought in Japan just before he arrive here…. I have played Efren a few years ago he is still a very, very great player!!!!! AND he still plays with a NO NAME cue!!!!!!!!

    • @AccuStats

      Sketchy, yes. But I feel it was a legal shot. He applied left hand english on the cue ball, so the cue ball cut off the object ball in time. If he applied right hand english, it would definitely been a foul.

    • @jeewilly321
      @jeewilly321 2 года назад +1

      Yeah, I would bet that if you slowed it down, there would definitely be a double kiss. Even with low left, It was too close to the object ball. Great shot though.

      @@AccuStats I can't believe you're saying this. There is no way in the world you can hit that shot with a low ball & still go fwd to the rail & back out around the 5 ball without a double hit which he clearly did. look at it again & think about it.

    Incardona's rambling chat is so disruptive...... I know of noone who cares what he would have done. He is has been, announcing a game of players way above his game. An announcer should be like a reporter.... observe and report what he has see. Did Howard Cosell ever tell Ali how to fight, or which punch to throw...... Bill is the worst excuse I have ever had to listen to.
