+stevemaxwelldrums *Conn-Selmer probably discontinued the L-1108 fine-tensionable gut set for the P87 release and P34 butt - **_my_** choice for a strainer.* What snare units are available for the P89 release and P35 butt?
Does anyone know how the volume of a snare like this compares to a kit snare? Would the copperphonic be about the same volume? I'm worried that if I used this as a kit snare it would be obscenely loud.
Thanks
awesome person
Thanks Steve! I love how you normalize the idea using orchestral snares on a kit. Having the ability to adjust is key
Steve's hands always in shape
This is awesome and an awesome demonstration. I want one.
What an absolutely amazing idea
Coated cable sounds great. Almost has a Krupa vibe to it.
Ludwig 🏆
I wish Ludwig would bring back the Super Sensitive strainer.
…to my ears this drum has a “soft attack” is not ringing yet still crisp. a very special drum, a classic!
🤔Hey Steve, thanks for the wonderful demo. I was curious to see if one can retrofit the system to existing Ludwig snare drums.
I wonder how this compares to the titanium multi-sonic.

I like it, very nice snare drum, what will be the price on this drum ?
I looked it up and it seems like it should be 799 for the 5" and 779 for the 6.5", approximately based on some pricing at another steve drum site lol

In my experience orchestral snares are about the same volume if not a little bit quieter
Is it better copper or brass?
