128gb mix of pc and standalone. Generally stick to 1,2,3 games has been the case on my ps5 with psvr2. Ordered some vr rock lenses, and the charger.
I pre-ordered the 512 Quest 3 knowing that these apps are going to be much larger due to their improved graphics. I will get the accessories later.
512gb because I have to Future Proof. The new games will get bigger with twice the power of the Q2 and 128gb is not even ready for 5 Top Tier Quest 2 games....
I ordered thhe 512 for the same reasons. I will wait for the Bobo vr strap rather than the elite . I wanted the active staps , but I will wait for 3rd party products. Can''''t justify $70 for those.
Yeah, I was also thinking about waiting for an aftermarket strap but I didn’t want to wait, still might get an aftermarket one later with battery pack installed if something good comes out

Bobo 've battery straps way better. There coming out with an adapter to make the bobo work with quest 3

I went with the 512gb model as I want to future proof the storage and not run out a year or two down the road. I also don't want to uninstall and have to download games again when I want to play them.
As for accessories, I went with the case and silicone facial interface. The fabric one is probably good but I'm sure it's going to absorb a lot of sweat and dirt. The silicone one will be very easy to clean. I also got the elite strap with battery. I know there are cheaper third party ones out there but I want something that is completely compatible and looks good. Lots of people rave about the BoboVR strap but I personally think it looks too bulky and heavy for my liking.
I don't think I'll spend $130 on a charging dock. I'm fine charging with the cable that's included. The only way I would get it is if I find I have to replace batteries in the controllers every week or two but I've read they last quite a long time.
Good buy 👍🏻 yes the battery life on the controllers should be good, the quest 2 controllers I have to charge less then any other VR controllers I have owned, I would sure quest 3 will be similar, depending how much you play though it might be every week they need charging, I just have some eneloop pro rechargeable batteries I use, they seem to be good
I don't buy many games, but I'm already struggling on the Q2 and deleting things, just to update stuff that's already on there, so I went with a 512. I've gone 3rd party on accessories, so I bought an elite style strap with an 8,000mah battery, a silicone face cover and a case and they cost me less than 50 quid.
Sounds like you got yourself some bargains, I may do the same
I know I'm probably gonna be disappointed if they pull a Quest 2 on us.
If y'all don't know what I'm talking about, the Quest 2 launched with 64GB of base storage, and later they came out with a 128GB, and subsequently a 256GB model. They proceeded to discontinue the 64GB Q2 and make the 128GB model the base model.
If they release a 256GB Quest 3 down the line, having preordered the base model, I'm gonna be so disappointed. I know these games are gonna be big, and if anything I shoulda saved up a bit more for the upper-specced model, but it is what it is. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
