@@CoZChristopher I subscribed to your channel by the way. I was very impressed with your review, the information that matters to the viewers and your honesty. Look forward to your future content. Appreciate it 👍
An experienced streamer or podcaster who's used to working on high-end gear is, of course, not going to be impressed by this in that context. If that person is sponsored by makers of high-end gear, then triple that effect. This piece of kit is best reviewed and understood in the context of its price, simplicity, and intended use case. What impresses me most about this device is that it performs pretty well with almost zero learning curve and can be used with no associated software. A lot of people who have been put off beginning to create content because of its perceived complexity can be encouraged by this thing to start.
I agree with that 100% and he's also a business owner within the space with access to many brands and product consistently. What bothered me for the impressionable audience, is that experienced folks know that to be true. Where responsibility comes in as a RUclipsr or anyone with a platform is to understand that the folks who asked him to review this product and give an opinion typically would fall into the group you spoke of. He told them all that the tech wasn't good and he wouldn't suggest it, it's missing to many features. But there are definitely more startups than established folks which is why there's a huge need and market for this product. I think it is very important as a channel or influencer grows to keep in mind the targeted audience of the product and subjectively share an unbiased opinion as fact, and then announce if you have a bias that affects your personal feelings on the product. In regards to Product Management, this tool solves the MVP and then more allowing it to produce a professional level podcast, stream, etc. Humbly, I just hope those he exponentially told not to buy it were able to find secondary opinions or join the conversation in the comments is all. I think that if someone has it on their bucket list to start a podcast or anything this year, this is one of the top choices before making heavy investments :)
Damn you nailed my thoughts exactly 💯 about this mixer. I just started 2 RUclips channels and as they are taking off I am slowly increasing my fear and I just bought this to steadily increase my gear. I just don't have time to learn a crash course in recording electronics. I'll learn over time and next year probably upgrade.
This is an excellent and honest review - exactly what I was looking for. I bought a dynamic XLR mic and just assumed it will come with an XLR to USB adapter. Imagine my disappointment after 5 days when I finally received the mic, I couldn't use it. (I know, I'm a peasant when it comes to audio gear.) I came across this while searching for cheap ways to connect my mic - I don't stream or anything. Just work calls and occasionally doing keyboard sound tests so anything basic should work for me. I don't want to shell out $200+ for an audio mixer to never fully utilize it. 😌
Agreed!! And I think products like these are perfect for that. Honestly most ppl can use these types of products period, OBS and other softwares manage streams and live services. If I didn’t do RUclips I wouldn’t need more than this.
Your Channel your soapbox....just means you are passionate about getting the proper information out to your viewers. no opinionated just subjective and factual information. That's what makes your channel great. for $40 what can you expect just the basic features. Thanks for the info and keep up the great videos.
id love to be able to try out some higher end mics and mixers than the basic things i have in a mic/headset combo LOL. i recently found you on youtube, and im loving the viedos!
I just ordered the setup because I want to have a decent mic but not go broke I only want it just to sound better when I game with my friends and maybe for other things in the future but in the meantime can you point me in the direction to best set this up to sound the clearest and best should be here later today thank you
I just picked up one of these to play with. Have you tried to run PC audio and Xbox audio into headphones while using the xlr mic? I can sorta get the audio to work, however, im not able to get any mic input or output
Loved the video! Had a quick question for you, I'm currently trying to use this product for a dual pc streaming/gaming setup. I'm trying to send my gaming PC audio over to the streaming PC in Streamlabs OBS. It looks like it's picking up some sort of static, but not the actual audio from the gaming PC? Any advice? I don't want to have to send this product back as it seems cool but I need it to support what I need from it. Any tips are appreciated. Thanks again!
Hmmmm, that's a great question. Maybe, something I can play around with in the future! It's really not designed for that, but you could try using a 3.5 to 3.5 cable from your pc speaker/headphone jack to the "input" 3.5 of the SC3. This may work. Is that how you have it setup currently? The input jack is designed to be used for like cell phones and tablets, but it may work this way. Are you setting your pc audio out to "headphones" or that specific jack you're using? Also, have you tried different cables?
I bought this when it first released, and it got thrown in storage due to me moving, but im having a few issues with my Rodecaster Pro Gen1, I might go ahead and get this out of storage rather than buying a new Rodecaster Pro (700$), guess i'll give this a try , but as usual bro, such a great video
Been looking at this. Wondered if you can use it to control chat mix like Discord on one channel and game volume on the other? That would definitely make me purchase
Great video pal as always awesome indeapth tutorial this does more than I expected. All three of these will be amazing for an up and coming streamer or even someone who has a gaming setup up just to game with friends. Oh no he didn't just call out Harris Heller lol. I agree with what you have said about his reviews pal don't get me wrong I like Harris and watch his videos but he does tend to compare the budget products against more expensive ones and usually they are the ones he likes. Which is OK yes we get it they are the brands you like but they won't be for everyone. This is why I like your videos pal as they are more true to a budget consumer so thank yiu for being there for us little people lol Stay Cozy pal
Do the custom sounds recorded work only if you have a 2 pc setup? I have the line-out plugged into my pc that the power cable for the interface is also plugged in to. Please if you or anyone could help me figure this out I'd greatly appreciate it.
@@CoZChristopher Yes the sc3 is selected for mic input. Does the sc3 need to be selected for output as well? My headphones are plugged into my pc via usb.
Is there even another product like that in this price range? I'm not expecting top of the line on a 40$ mixer, that'd be insane, but as long as it does what's advertised, it would make my life a lot simpler. Dealing with software mixers is a pain, there's something of value about the immediacy and the feedback of turning a knob or pushing a button that you just don't get via software. Also, I stream and make youtube videos as a hobby, it doesn't pay me anything, I don't have 500$ to spend on a microphone or 300$ for a mixer... there is definitely a place in the market for these kind of products.
Agreed!! He really ripped this product and it was not fare assessment based on the price. The other one similar would be the Maono C2 NEO. I did a review on that one as well but have not done a comparison of the two yet.
Haha! I use both, just the one behind me is for gaming! That's when I step away from my work desk and reset! It's vital to mindfulness! But, thats a great callout! I have not always been so fortunate. This is why I really love to share value based products like this one that gives users high output for less money! We all start somewhere so I think it's important to continue to share great value products as well as "high-end" ones!
Thank you! That bothers me when there’s an agenda!! I’m not here to sell anything to the community. Companies pay for access, but they can’t pay for your morals and values! My goal is to build a space where ppl know the truth and they can trust what I say! Stuff like that bothers me, when you’re that large you don’t have to persuade ppl listen anyway, and that’s a real responsibility!

Seems like a great solution! I'm going to return my Samson Q2U and go with this setup!
Can you also hear the audio of your computer? the one that is connected to the SC3
I think that whole setup sound great for an affordable price, thanks for the content.
Wow, the features of this mixer sound awesome! I've never tried autotuning my voice before. 😃
Can I still use my wireless headset

does this mixer act as a amplifier for iems?
if i connect my headphone 'line out' of my scarlet focusrite audio mixer to the ' line in' of the fifine can it be heard in ps5 chat?

How did you connect your wireless headset
@@thelastnatty8537 hey! It’s hard to see, but I had them plugged into the SC3 via a 3.5mm cable into the “headphones” jack of the Interface.
Could this be used to control MIDI on music production software???
There's no MIDI inputs on the back so i don't think so.
FiFine makes great affordable equipment on a budget! Good on calling out Harris Heller, not everyone can afford expensive gear like him.
