Decades back now while Mother was living, she would think nothing about grabbing the old two man saw and myself and head out to cut the wood. Seems as tho the trees would fall where she wanted the trees to fall, including away from the house when close in LOL. Short little arms sure were worked good on the far end of that saw too!
Hi Mr Tim, Another awesome video of you cutting trees down!!! You are quite the man that makes it look so easy cutting them down. As for that Rotobec grapple that is one heck of an attachment!!! That is so universal on your machine and would love to come down to give it a try. You and the family stay safe during this terrible Pandemic. And hopefully your only going out when need be. Make sure you have a mask on when doing your errands since almost 1000 people in my area have passed from it. Have a great week and Later Tator!!!
i can see why you invested in the grapple,it makes handling trees easy.ive seen guys use a bundle of old chainlink fence as a broom to tidy up the small stuff.it worked very well.
Tim you only did one thing that appeared dangerous to me and that was when you reached across the log and cut towards yourself otherwise everything you did might not have been how I would have done it but it was your choice of how to tackle the situation and I can respect that stay safe brother
Yep that same storm front came up through where I live and we had buckets of rain fall last night and wind thank God the power stayed on here some areas are with out this morning
I have a 562 and love it. at the time it was the best power for the weight ratio in a saw. That was before the 550 came out. After watching your vids, would love to see how the 550 felt. hopefully we will get your thoughts on the comparison if you get a 562.
I know a lot of people think the clean up crew are the ones doing the hardest work, but I beg to differ. Anyone that has ever used a chainsaw and cut down trees and then cut them up for the crew to remove, knows that chainsaw worker is the hardest working person of the crew, hands down... Try it some time and you too will understand...
That squall line blew through here around 1030 last night. I'm from South Georgia and have been through some hurricanes. But I've got to say that was the most rain I've ever seen fall in such a short distance. I emptied my rain guage at 0600 Saturday morning. This morning it had 6 inches in it. The wind was not joke either
Tim glad everything is alright where u are .Not so good 130 miles south. Our heart's out to those in Soso Was really glad to here you have something getting shipped from across the pond .Hope it works both ways I shipped to the Netherlands 2 weeks ago don't have any idea tracking quits @ customs
I'm born and raised in Las Vegas NV and I can't even imagine going through weather like that because all I have had to worry about my whole life is 118 heat and flash flooding happening in the matter of minutes and we have built 200 retention ponds and concrete culverts that start 10ft by 10ft and by the time it's just west of the strip the culverts are 30ft high by 90ft wide and even all that it still flood's almost Everytime it rains here. Stay safe have a good day
Carl Reed: Yes, I’ve known that the wedge directs the fall of the tree. But he was pushing them over, which seems like he’s not doing something right. Have you watched the Husqvarna video How to fell a tree...? It’s really informative.
Your helmet looks like the same one my phycologist gave me and requires me to wear anytime I'm outside of my paded bedroom. For some reason mine doesn't have the eye protection like yours does
Did anyone see the commercial for "fit face"? Oh my gosh, I almost pissed myself!!! It's about a piece of plastic that you put in your mouth to make your face look years younger. I can now say I'm ready to die after watch it now. NOT!!!!!

Didn't know a tree could "go off like dynamite" until today. Really enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe.
Thanks 👍

Glad to hear you guys are all Safe from those Bad Storms....
I'm very glad to hear you and the family are safe. As I've said before that mini is one of the best investments you could have made.

Glad to see you guys safe over that away. Prayers for the ones that got hit hard.
👍👍I am glad you and your family are safe. Take care and have a great day

Great video today Tim have a great week always enjoy watching your video stay safe
Good afternoon. Closed on the house and 40 acres this morning.
Condolences to those of ya'll who have loss due to the weather.
Ya'll be safe.
Trees that explode on contact. Love it!
I’m glad y’all are okay. I live in northeast Alabama so we got hit pretty hard and lost a hay barn but we’re all good. Love the vid
The Kabota w/ grapple is a clean up stud.
Hope all is well after the storms on Sunday. It got quite hairy up in SC early this morning when the storms came through here.
Hope you and all your loved ones are okay and safe.
@@cntslesfabrication Yes we made it through fine. Severe damage and at at least one death one county over.
@@johns8771 that's sucks big time. I'm glad you and the family are safe.
Boy you hit it right on the head picking up that was impressive for sure glad you like the kubota I love mine great work horse see ya Napa mike

Some cool stuff. Definitely some aggravating trees. Great job

Nice video, Tim
Great video 👍 Tim!
The grabble is handy as a pocket on a shirt good video, northeast MS here near Fulton Itawamba County

Hope you stayed safe during all the severe weather. I was out chasing and got to see that tornado that hit soso
Fun to watch you and your machine s
Sir, you make it look soooo easy. Good job Sir and I love your Vids (Gatineau, Québec, Canada)
Good job cotontop , great video!!!!
One big bonfire Nothing like the sound of a husky chain saw running

William Foltynewicz I have family in SoSo. Extensive house damage but no injuries.
"Saw Man" is at it again!!!
Tim your a good man
I was watching The Weather Channel I seen it was all up on ya, but yeah that rain on IG looks like your pond was close to the top of the road...👍
Does the thumb work with the rot beck head on it
Someone said that chain was sharp. Awesome job felling, but I bet he went through a few chains. Cutting into a dead tree is like cutting dirt lol.
Thats saw gets good “logs per gallon “ Tim .what kind of mix do you use in it ? The XP oil mix in the silver bottle ?
Yes the xp oil.
Does Kubota make a stump grinder for your mini
That is one sharp chain on that saw.
Love it when you hand cut
Great video
omg vroom vroom sounds like my 15 year old running the saw! way too extravagant for a simple job! was no need for that expensive machine!
“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” ― Mark Twain.
Which saw did you do this job with?
I used a 572 and 550
Thanks for the quick reply. Do find yourself reaching for the 550 more due to weight? It appears to be quite the powerhouse.
That is correct, I run the 550 a lot. Next step up is the 562.
I have a 562. Not happy with it. I believe it is an early one that had carb and heat problems, but it don’t run worth any darn.
They have been good since the early version of the 562. In November they have an updated 562 that is coming out
Fail? Looked good enough to me. Hope that mess paid well. Lol
Where did you get the double dogs? I figure you can't keep the captive nuts
You do have to swap back to regular bar nuts. The double dogs came from Husqvarna.
Tim if it is that bad*ss Husky combo oil and fuel can I have two of them that I love. Had them imported. Nice to have a gas can that works.
Kubota working fine for dead tree removal
You'll have weather issues yesterday and this morning My weather radio wake me at 5 this morning

Saw them storms on My Radar yesterday
Tim, any storm damage near you guys? Guess I should have watched the entire video before I asked the question.
He seems to have a style where he cuts a small wedge and then pushes it over.
All lumberjacks do that it gives a direction to fall the tree
Carl Reed lumberjack??? Really?? This ain’t no cutter this a wannabe..
Carl Reed: Yes, I’ve known that the wedge directs the fall of the tree. But he was pushing them over, which seems like he’s not doing something right. Have you watched the Husqvarna video How to fell a tree...? It’s really informative.
@@gnuclur8952 are you a cutter?
@@boa9535 why beat the tree over with a felling wedge when you have a machine on site to do it especialy when the trees are rotten work smart not hard
That 550 just screams!!
Brenton Medders 3 hours running it nonstop and it will locked up.
Kari King you should watch some newer videos because she’s still screaming!!😁😁
4:58 did anyone see the mini excavator arm move
All hydraulics leak a bit, even more when older..
On my first chain saw, I have to turn the carburetor to cut on the side.
Lol. I know this saw. I wasn't here to see it purchased, but I got to hold it.
@@MrThenry1988 It was an old Homelite from 56.
Bigger baits ??
That tree was literally dust that fell.
讚!

all that firewood gone to waste :'(
Husqvarna has the best saws
WOW
Tu as mis ton guide a l'envers pour a pub 😂😂😂😂
Dead is a understatement
Sadly it is up to 20 dead total
It looked like you changed the chain on the saw.
By the way.
Check out my latest video,
if you want to watch a snowstorm in April.
