Just hold it so the disk part is facing down and hold down the eject button it'll push out all the disks. I bought a PS3 a few years ago and someone had stuck like 6 disks in so I found out that way to fix it

To be honest.The only way your going to truelly fix your ps3 is if you open it up and check it out.If you use you common sense and go slow you shouldn't fuck up your ps3.

Wow, I actually tried what *I think* this video is trying to demonstrate, and it worked. I have a PS3 slim, and I put in 2 disks on top of each other, kind of like the Mastercard logo, with the hole in the bottom disk being covered by the solid part of the top disk. They went in and got stuck, so I reached a finger underneath the disks and ejected. Then put a single disk back in, and BOOM it works fine after being busticated for 2-3 months.

YOU WILL HEAR the click. Boom disc will show up. You will be ready to roll after that 😉 . Simply amazing and save this video. It's internet gold. The drives must get frozen after non play. But this gets it going again

Well, this just happened to me. I fixed it by entering safe mode and then restoring PS3 system. I'm glad that I did not have too much data on my PS3, since restoring deletes everything.

You best go get (buy) another ps3 console. Because once the consoles drive goes out or even starts "skipping out" you'll start slamming the console down on a table trying to get the drive to get the disc data. Good luck.

restarting my ps3 seems to work but thanks i'll try that next time sounds like the cd drive needs adjusting you know those teeth that eject the disk guess its slipped if thats why hes doing that
did this too on a freinds ps3, it worked like a charm, also opened it up and cleaned the laser lens with a qtip and alcahol, now it works like its brand new, thought i would share, good luck everybody..
I didn't think it could possibly work but figured I had nothing to lose. put in an old scratched up audio disk and then the edge of a blank DVD disk and it worked. put in a movie and its playing great! thanks, wasn't wanting to tear it apart and put in a new player. you made my day
mine makes a really weird whirr like its reading for 2 secs then the reader like powers down repetetively until either it stops and the disk doesnt show up, or it does. 99% of times it wont show up.

The CD drive has moving parts so over time they may wear out of move slightly out of place and just need to be reset most of the time

Ironically enough. I just replaced the bluray/dvd drive with a brand new one. That's what really gets me.
