Made this and I love it! I used this same recipe to make bread in the oven. And for pancakes I put in 1 tbsp of vanilla, 1 tsp of cinnamon and some nutmeg... it was delicious.
The best cinnamon is vietnamese or saigon type. Really sort of world changing in flavor. Bourbon vanilla is like that, too. Some cardamon might be good to mix in.
This turned out great! Best coconut flour bread option yet. I split a hot dog and rolled this around it as a bun. Tasty and fast. I used bacon drippings to fry it up in.
I made this just now for dinner and it was pretty yummy. I definitely think its worth trying. I've tried ALOT of coconut flour recipes that ultimately were tossed out because they were inedible, but THIS one I actually enjoyed eating! For the milk I used heavy whipping cream. I made it into one big "pancake" and spread it with some homemade pizza sauce and some white cheddar. It was basically a faux pizza. I will be making this again. THANKS FOR THE RECIPE!
THANK YOU! So much for a fast, low-carb bread that does NOT use a microwave. Looks delicious. Lots of flexibility to this depending on flavors, cinnamon + vanilla would make this a sweet french toasty variation, or Italian seasonings would make a great garlic bread.
I used 4 Tbsp Almond Flour and 1 Tbsp Almond Milk with vanilla and followed the rest of the recipe the way it was written. Turned out great!! I can have bread again!! Thanks so much for the recipe!!
I love this idea! As I was watching you mix the ingredients together, I thought that it would be really easy to make up pre-measured packets of the dry ingredients... :D then you just have to add the egg and the milk. Voila! Thank you so much for sharing this video!
I was going to say the same thing! And PIP the addition adds loft...which if you look at the video the end result has heft or density. Vinegar making BP bloom so it lightens up a heavy or dense ingredient list. : ) PS. I would encourage all to avoid powdered Parm. There are additives that you don't want, choosing a parm wedge and few grates on a grater you will find will reward you 100 fold. I am the kid that when no one was watching I took that green shaker to my open mouth and dumped it in. So I love the stuff...still. : )
Good morning, I just like to let you know that I tryed this recipe for my self last night and it didn't turn out like the picture so I put it up and this morning I decided to get it a try so I took two egg one tablespoon and add some herbs mix it well and pour into my sandwich maker and make my husband a Bacon and cheese sandwich that was delicious and it hold together great no more white bread for use....
OMG, I am running down the stairs to make this right now. I hope I don't trip! Ok. So as promised I did just that and ran downstairs and made this. It was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! Thank you for bringing back ham and cheese into my life. i have missed it so much!!!!!
My first day back on low carb, found your recipe and it's great! I put a slice of cheese on mine with an easy over egg and had a perfect breakfast. Thanks for the inspiration to start back on healthy eating.
I make focaccia bread with almond flour bread. I have been loving it. Coconut flour is a little difficult if you use cast iron pan. I prefer to use it over non stick as it is more healthy.
Loved this, Thanks! Just made it without the baking soda or powder. I also used pinch of shredded cheese along with the parmesan - It was incredible! Thanks so much for this,
I'm not much of a cook and stick to very basic meals. Most people would call my diet very Spartan but this looks really good and not difficult to throw together. I am going to try this. Thanks.
Thank for sharing such a great idea. Just made it and it looked stunning! It was delicious and on my next go I will add a little spice and maybe garlic. I recommend all newbies to keto try this:)
Thank you for an easy recipe, instructions and ingredients. I made this tonight and it was delicious. There are so many ways to prepare,, and I appreciate that. Thanks again.
good stuff for sure, i like to use this an on the go breakfast too, i'll add chopped walnuts, ginger, cinnamon and ground cloves in the batter too. smells great when cooking. i make them first thing in the morning then i let them cool, pop them in a sandwich baggie and take them with me as i go out....yummm
I made pizza with this recipe... came out great! I made the flat bread twice as wide, and 1/2 the flour was all purpose gluten free flour. Put in freezer over night. Then I put the thawed flat breads back in a pan with avocado oil, and fried a bit, til crispy on edges. Let it cool to rm temp. And then put my sauce and toppings on and baked for 12 min. I ate one, and froze one. They both came out AWESOME, yum! But the one I froze, and warmed up on another day was actually better, just like restaurant pizza! I put veggie pepperoni on as on of my toppings. Thanks for the recipe!
Good morning, yes, I did do the recipe but I but my own twist to it and it came out fantastic I made my husband a Bacon and cheese sandwich and it hold up and was delicious so thank you so much for that recipe.....
Thanks so much for sharing. I love the simplicity of your recipes and the fact that you just show the necessary ingredients and then get on with the work. I have made this flat bread as a grilled cheese and it was delicious. I also made the cabbage lasagna and it was wonderful! I tried the broccoli chicken bake and need to remember to tenderise my chicken breasts before cooking as they were just a bit too dry, even with the sauce. I am a cancer survivor, a diabetic and 70 years old. I have been Paleo, alternating with Keto, for four years now and so many recipes I find on RUclips are not as clear and concise as yours. I have never 'subscribed' to a video site before, but yours is worth the effort. Thanks so much!
I will use this recipe again. Used heavy cream as my liquid. Used dried Italian herbs with the salt. Next time will cut back on Parmesan to maybe 2 tsp and use coconut and almond flour. I liked it because it didn’t fall apart as I ate it. I used ACV as suggested in comment below, which made it a bit fluffier. Thank you for posting this recipe.

It's weird how I found you. I order my groceries online, and one day I received a bag of Organic coconut flour that I did not order. Walmart told me to keep it !!! So this morning, I looked up "Coconut Flour on You Tube". Since my husband is from Trinidad, I knew he was going to like it. I found out you were from there on your episode called "Curry Gilbaker". It was Father's Day and your nice Auntie from Guyana was visiting. Anyway, I am definitely making this grilled ham and cheese sandwich for my Trini Guy Husband today. All the Best, my Friend.

I've read many complaints about the eggy taste - just add some chopped garlic, some onion powder, or some Italian seasoning or any other wonderful stuff that you like and it will help. As well, many complain it's NOT like bread. Well, it isn't bread. Take it for what it IS.
Agreed, but in our effort to be nice, let's not gloss over the reality that this tastes like ass and you can't hardly pick it up without it falling apart. I am taking it for what it is. Unfortunately, it is crap.
