Check Nike cosmetics production date, shelf life and expiry. Read information from the batch code provided by the manufacturer on the packaging.
Do you know what years this football cleat was primarily made? ... The shoe manufacturing date is located on the label sewn inside the shoe

The 2nd example shows 120901 which you interpret as Sep 01, 2012. However, the season is SPring. It doesn't make sense that a Spring 2012 (Jan-Mar) item is produced in September later that year. Do you believe 0901 should be interpreted as the first Sep 01 BEFORE the indicated season/year? Also, do you have any idea what the last letters stand for?
How about clothes from the early 90s?

I am not sure whether this works for garments produced after 2020 and before 2010.
I have a completely different type of code. No letters in it. I do have an RN# and CN#.

How about "S30711STI"? Summer of 2003, July 11th?? Would they skip the zero in '03?
Most probably yes. And they use a different nomeclature for garments after 2020.

Does this work the same with vintage Nike items that had the silver and grey tags?
It works for all the Nike garments that have the smaller tag at the back of the care label. Older tag formats might have the manufacture date deployed but that's not a must.

On my basketball jersey it says HBB , what does it mean?
Hum.... My bag only have the big sign. Not a small one and not any code similar to this on the big note.
I have a Nike backpack I want to date. I guess its from between 1998 and 2003. Its not newer than 2003.
The model seems to be SO JPM only number on the big note is C.I.F. /N 802820323 and IM 2392.
Is that saying something?
If the bag is older than 2003, it is likely that it doesn't have the manufacture date on the tag. Most probably it doesn't have it anywhere as >20 years ago manufacture date was seldom deployed in garments .

My jacket doesn’t have a small tag
Small tags have been introduced from 2010 onwards. If it is an older model than that, it is OK not to have a smaller tag at the back
@@VoiceOfPeopleToday mine is a large patch on top, then the laundry tag is just the laundry tag. So 2 total tags only. The large patch has the red Nike swoosh with white background
