I was the only bass clarinet player in my band and I always got so excited whenever we reached the stairway to heaven part cuz only I got to play that beautiful beginning. Where my bass clarinet players at ✊🏼🤘🏼
Hi Janie
In my band qw playwd rhis song and i am the only bass clarinet player to so for stairway to heaven i feel the same way
Dont play bass clarinet but i play bassoon 💪
As a bass I concur
Okay, well the level of greatness in this song is incomparable. The Stairway To Heaven part was absolutely heartwarming
NoQuarter what about by Led Zeppelin themselves
AGHHH THE BLACK DOG PART!!!! SO great!! I love the sax solo and then when the brass comes in its great!
"There's a feeling I get when I look to the west, and my spirit is crying for leaving."
My band played this song and I played the solo trumpet part in stairway to heaven and it was so cool!!!
Mine too. We threw every person in all the bands on stage at once to play it (so like 100+) people, and it was an absolute blast!
Tell me you rewrote that ending trumpet solo though. It's completely wrong.
@@delfordchaffin5617 I know right when I heard it in my band I was like “uh that’s not how it goes”
we played this last year and omg stairway to heaven made people cry in the audience
Can't believe there are 5 people who dislike this *amazing* piece!!!!!
now 31
@@cbmajor6017 Thankfully it has stayed at 31 ;).
35
Good news the dislike button was removed so nobody else could dislike this
@@matijadrummer now there's no dislike counter lmao
We are playing this in band class and it's just so fun and cool to play!
I remember playing this song for my Junior year and.....now I miss the old band that I still had but, I know I have to keep moving forward with what I have now.
Man, along with this, a Queen Medley & Beatles: Echoes of an Era, I could put together quite a rock music themed concert :).
Marcus Hicks a queen medley would be amazing
Triforce Link one does exist. Queens Greatest Hits-a Medley of Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites the Dust, Crazy Little Thing, We Will Rock You & We Are The Champions.
Rock in roll is so badass 🤟
I did the sax solo in thiss!! My band director let me stand up and do it and it was 🔥
omg the Stairway to Heaven was so freaking beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bravo!
I played this song with my band
What instrument? It seems easy for me (7th)
+IIIIIIIIII111 sax
Cruz Ivan Garcia-Escamilla Mate did you get that sexy solo?
I play it in my band too, oboe masterace
This is my school's show this year... So glad to get a sax heavy show 😭
Immigrant song was always our stand tune during marching band because we are the “Northmen” aka “I come from the land of the ice and snow” I miss playing it :( they cut it for the final countdown… Immigrant song was way more fun
I was supposed to play lead clarinet in this for my senior year of high school, but the concert got cancelled due to the pandemic. Still a lovely arrangement!
Damn man, that sucks.
Супер!!! Спасибо.
I was in the percussion section in my h.s. band - would have loved to play this!
my school 7th and 8th grade symphonic band played this. sadly, i was not in it than so nothing i will play can beat this.
Would always play this in band class during my senior years of Middle school. Even played this on stage once before. We played it so much it became second hand nature to us, so much so that other pieces proved too much for us despite being much simpler than this. Time can fly by so fast
Brother? Is that you
@@catwithabat7163 i-is it you?
I play tuba and I love listening to the baritones at 8:00
I play this in bad it’s awsome
Leaving this for myself (or anyone else) later: black dog at around 2:35
We play this song on the harmony
Stairway to Heaven @6:00
This sounds really good until measure 247 when someone who has clearly never heard Stairway to Heaven took over for that last trumpet solo.
We r playing this at my band and god save me the trombone part is so hard
Black dog bout to kill me😂
@@ryandix6394 lol yeah wtf even was that!
I play kit for this but my brother plays trombone and we love led zeppelin and he is the only one who can het the black dog guitar right
@@keyboardspam108 yeah i got it after a loooooot of practice
Im the bass player for my band and black dog is the same for the trombones as my part so when I played it my brother who plays trombone was like 👁️👄👁️ "how" and I reply with "practice" lol
just finished performing this, just realized ive been playing the trombone part in black dog wrong this whole time 😔

I know Heaven is going to be even more beautiful then the stair ways to Heaven song! Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you can be save dby the sacrifice He made on the cross and rose again 3 days later defeating that death so we can have an eternal relationship with Him! Its not religion.
Excellent!! Runs a bit long.
Immigrant song could have been taken out to save time.
the last half is better than the first - Kashmir and Stairway to Heaven are awesome!!!!
He should have put going to california
Kashmir should have been shortened. Immigrant song is a classic
