I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THIS MEDLEY FOR THE LONGEST!!! I COULD CRY RIGHT NOW!!! I fell in love with this medley when I played it in Highschool in 2017. (I played Trumpet 2-3) BIG SHOUT OUT TO MY BAND TEACHER MR. HALVERSON!! I played the trumpet for 9 years but let it go after my senior year, I regret that so much, I had the best music teacher. It was songs like this that make me want to go and buy a trumpet and play again.
STRONGLY endorse it esp if you have a music/instrument shop near you that lets you rent!! there are always opportunities to get back into it and some are super low-stakes like a volunteer (and sometimes paid) city/municipal band :)
Get back in the saddle, done be like me who dallied around for 13 years…. It’s right there and easier than you think to get back on stage

I play alto sax in concert band, my friend who plays baritone has a soli for one of my favourite parts in civilization 4. The little 3 bar soli in it is my absolute favourite part of this entire piece

I just got the music for this piece and I'm going to be reading it in my band class two days from now I am so excited, I have first trumpet and the solo and melody on Halo look so scary but I'm so excited
how did this go? i played lead trumpet on this in highschool in 2009! The halo part was one of the funnest things I ever played.

@@blorgusfeorgus5460 nah, he Sells for bout 90,-, not making it..... Employees, ink, paper, shipping, website, ads, revenue for those who wrote it, etc... Maybe 20 bucks, depends on how many he sells in a certain period of time.
We were supposed to play the halo theme for one of our pieces last year. When those who were supposed to be playing at the part everyone knows, the rest would stand up and sing along. But he cut it. :(
