Great piece of footage mate, the old Ampol across the rd from the cop shop and court there, Perrams is still there in the same spot today too I believe, lots changed in Liverpool dice 75, it was a breeding ground for sone of the toughest men ever to throw a punch in the commercial, mainsbridge, the fleece or the Collingwood, anyone who disagrees with that knows nothing about Liverpool or the men that I refer too.
They were the original 1% ers those guys, back in the time when they weren’t all Arab drug dealers who showered 4 times a day and went through a bottle of Paco Rabane or Drakkar Noir aftershave every 4 days!
Like them or not, those Bikies back then all knew every nut and bolt on their bike, they lived the life, sure some, not all like today, were criminals, made money in ways that were not legal, but a lot of them worked full time blue collar jobs, not so now, if these pretend Bikies of today actually even rode a bike, which isn’t even a prerequisite to join most gangs in this country, with the exception of clubs like the Jokers, Black Uhlans and I believe the Lone Wolves, and if they do Ride a bike they are so over done all their missing is the kitchen sink, over customised , over priced and gaudy embarrassments that they carry a Harley Badge, with all that “bling” , they look like the sort of a bike Liberace would ride if he was of middle eastern decent and in one of the well known clubs in Sydney in 2022, no kick starts in sight for these new ones,
If it wasn’t for the electric key start on The ridiculous v rod bikes they get around on, they wouldn’t be able to start the things!
And lastly, who was it that decided to fit the electronic rev limiters on these bikes that are the equivalent to a an 18 year old Greek kids purple Chrysler Valiant circa 1974, and then at every light or at any time hold the throttle on full to announce that they are existing near mere mortals?
That is the preverbal cherry on top and all the proof needed to be sure that the rider, their bike, and that action of revving the crap out of it next to you at the lights are pathetic, laughable, and are NOT in any way shape or form a part of the original OLMC 1%er life, or what it once stood for.
Great footage though mate, I wonder if there’s any more of it that still exists?

100% pal. Livo's a putrid dump nowadays, I grew up there and at it's worst was still 1000% better than it is now. 😝. But at least we knew it then as a good, knockabout place. How about George St being two way 👍😅😅. Been probably 40 years now as 1 way. 😂😂😂

Shifty would be rolling in his grave at the biker scene now. 😒. There's nothing low key about any of the scene anymore, but there was a time...
