I think the carotid pulse vanishes in the position ! Tried it on myself with my neck straightforward, there was pulse, when turned 90 degrees, it was masked by the SCM muscle
@3:38 does he mean add 5 cm to the measured 2 cm? He says it the other way around which is confusing
Yes you add the 2cm measured to 5cm. The 5cm the average distance that the right atrium is below the sternal angle in most people.
