Great knives! That Shemanese looks so gorgeous! Im becoming a bit more of a LT Wright Fan. But my Bravo 1.25 3v is one of my favorite knives. Well the Gunny 3v also. Cheers from Fiskars, Finland!

I think Bark River has some of the best designs, but I have had some complaints about fit and finish over the past few years. I'm just getting into LT Wright over the past year, but really enjoy their knives. All of my LT Wright have had good or perfect fit and finish. Do you have any experience with Casstrom knives? If so, how is sleipner steel? Cheers from the mountains of North Carolina!

Good collection of practical knives. I go through my collection and try to pick favorites and which one I’d grab if I was forced to bug out. I’m afraid my pack would get heavy quick cause I just can’t choose between them. I have 15 Bark Rivers as well. It’s hard to choose between them. I think for an extended period away from home I’d opt for stainless, elmax. The DBKKnife and the TRC Apocalypse with Convex grind, are at top of my collection for bugging out. But the Bravo 1 LT in 3V and the Bravo 3 in 3V or the Bravo 2 in 3V are just too good to leave behind. No matter what I walk out the door with the Bark River Bushcrafter will always be on my belt. One of my favorite things about the knife community is listening to guys pick their favorite knives. By the way you’re really nice to let company use LT Wright Knife. When I have company they get a Mora or a Cold Steel. Maybe I’d let close kin use one of my Bark Rivers if I was where I could keep an eye on them, Maybe.

It sounds like you have so many good knives it's hard to pick a favorite, but I'd say the Bushcrafter is tops if that is always with you. That LT Wright in AEB-L is tough enough that I didn't think anyone would hurt it. Thanks for watching and commenting. I just picked up a couple of new knives that I'll show on video shortly.

Great video. Thank you. My favorite knife is a Winkler Crusher Belt knife with rubber handles that is just perfect for all of my knife tasks. The sheath , grip, reverse grip, the way it attaches, blade steel, glass breaker, looks are perfect. I only own 4 knives. 3 TOOR blades. They are the perfect fixed blade EDC knives. Good luck with your blades!!

I don't own a Winkler, but I know they are practically indestructible from what I've seen on video. Toor Knives look like they would be really nice to carry based on the size of the ones I've seen.

I hadn't really thought of an update until your comment, but I think it will be good to do one every year. I'm always getting new knives, so my favorites could change.

The older bark river knives are hard to beat. 👍

I agree. Not only did they perform well , but they had some of the best designs and most attractive handles.

@@MountainLife1 absolutely. I am looking at mine as I write this. Just field dressed a doe with one of my drop point hunter's with elder burl. Like butter

I really like that big BR Bravo 1.5. But I also like that big LT a lot too! In fact, I enjoy all my LT Wright's.
      Great knives.
I notice you don't have a scandi grind in there..... 🤔

@@kanukkarhuAs I said in the video, my LT Wright knives are as useful as any, but I chose the BR as top because it would be harder to replace. I don't own a scandi grind. I need to remedy that. Now that you pointed that out, I probably won't rest until I have a scandi grind knife.

Great collection man! What about the highlander? Are you liking it so far? I always wanted to get one of those and wanted to see your opinion on it

I like the Highlander, but don't use it as much as my Bark River Bravo LTs or my LT Wright Shemanese and Large Northern Hunter. The Highlander is much thicker and heavier than these, so is well suited to heavy camp chores. I do more general kitchen tasks and some game processing more than batonning and heavier camp chores. Also, I find the handle not as comfortable for feather sticking and fine work, especially if the task is prolonged. The 01 tool steel takes a nice patina and sharpens very easily. Overall, I like it, but find it not as well suited for what I generally do with a knife. I hope this helps.

LT Wright is a lot better then Bark River. I have Dawson Knives Huntsman and Schwarz Knives Confidante in MagnaCut.
