I know how much effort goes into making an epic video week after week. And after all this time you have been making these videos, to still have the ability to sprinkle all that energy and magic into your videos. Much respect.
Marc and Trish, it was a pleasure meeting you both and Charlie at Anchors Down, never did I or my wife ever expect to come across paths with you two. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Safe Travels.
We have maintained a travel journal for the past 15 years. We use a simple notebook to list the details of each trip including who went along. We make notes about special moments that happened on that trip. We have filled two notebooks and are well into the third. It's so great to have those memories easily accessible. Love your vids!
Trish, bless your heart, trying to look so excited with Marc showing his improvements when all a girl wants to do is curl up and watch shortbread recipes lol 😊😊
Our trip will start in 5 days. We will fly in from Germany to Houston for a 3 weeks roadtrip in Texas. Not with an RV, but with a rental car and Motels, because we are not experienced in RVing. However, your videos reminds us always that travelling, freedom and family is the most important thing we could do and have. Enyoy your further travels and keep us inspired 👍🏻
You should add while you're near lake superior to go florescent sodalite rock hounding. It's a night hint where you use special blacklight flashlights and hunt for glowing rocks. Water, hiking, cool things, seems right up your alley.
We are from NC and have a 1 year old English Cream retriever too. Tucker loves going camping. We bought what I refer to as a hammock (iBuddy car seat cover for $35) for Tucker and Winston (English bulldog) that covers the entire back seat of our F-250. They always curl up and fall asleep or Tucker puts his nose out the back window and watches the camper for me. I hope we cross paths one year so Tucker can play with Charlie. 😊 Safe travels❣️
Been with you for several season now. Love how you tell the story! And. Love knowing you’ve visited the TOG Airstream Park! We used that as home base this winter. See you parked a couple spaces down from where we were. Looks much better with all the leaves. Can’t wait to get back there next month. See you out there somewhere! Soon!
Happy Sunday Sweet ~N~ Low 😊, Ya know I have a quick tip for Marc ( for next time ) the yellow tape holding the trim can be removed without stripping off the chrome finish . Just use a blow dryer ( not a heat gun ) setting on lo-heat for a few moments. And it will peel off without incident. Great to see you guys smiling & happy . Safe travels and we'll see you again next week ❤.
Thank you for travelling all over America. Since I can’t travel I get to see the world through your eyes. On my summer to remember list is to make my backyard as much like being in nature. This year it’s a new deck to connect to the stone patio and all the trees and flowers. Now if only the rain would stop long enough for the work to begin.
Summer to remember.... Staying in our caravan near by our daughter because we are becoming grandparents for the first time this summer ❤ Love from the Netherlands, Daniëlle 🙋
"this is our time" segment was transcendent. You guys have become sooo good at what you do! Bravo! I hope to meet you on the road one day. If I ever get on the road, that is....
As a long-time follower, it has been fun watching you raise your family on the road (especially through expressive Caleb’s eyes). Now thoroughly enjoying watching you two enjoying yourselves as empty nesters.
So proud of my sweet little Helen GA! What was once the silly place we all made a quick road trip to visit as teenagers is now a seriously exclusive fudge / trout fishing / tubing / motorcycle getaway... and to see Mark and Trish there is the kind of connection my young kid persona needed to really feel special about my childhood. Thank you, silly goofy "Floridians," for sharing with us!
PA Grand Canyon is beautiful... Once our truck gets delivered, we are going on our first camper trip. (Newbies)... you give us so many great tips and tricks...thank you
That short clip of the dunebuggy towing the teardrop. The couple driving it were on their way to Amelia Island Florida for a dune buggy event with the ManxClub. At the event they got Married.
Y'all are a great couple and I enjoy your videos. When you stayed at the campground by Dandridge TN you were just down the road from where we live. That is a beautiful campground. Looking forward to seeing your next video from the 'all Airstream Park' . That stream is incredible and I bet the sound is nice to sleep to. Love to see how you take such care and pride in your rig and show the things you do to maintain it. Take care out there.
My husband's parents camped in their Airstream at Top of Georgia many times when they would come visit "the kids" in Atlanta. They loved it. That was 35+ years ago. And that curvy road is the "twisties" -- a fun memory for my husband and I, plus 5-6 couples, who used to ride motorcycle (Goldwing) to Helen and all north Georgia for lunch on Saturdays (until we retired, moved to Texas and bought an Airstream). Helen hosts Octoberfest in the Fall. Glad you were able to spend a few days in the really beautiful part of the state.
Hi Marc, Trish, and friends. Enjoy your thoughts on revisiting various setup aspects with your second airstream. Over the past 4 years, I made a conscious decision to not use air bags or a weight distribution hitch towing with a 2019 F350 and my 28’ “blue collar” airstream. I have gravitated to Timbren springs and a GenY torsion hitch which I believe provides as good of ride as air bags. Either way, for any RVer, you want a smooth safe ride capable of handling unexpected bumps that doesn’t shake your rig apart or cause premature wear on your suspension. Thank you for sharing all your experiences with us. Happy travels!
Even thought I only rented RVs for 3 Separate weekends in the past couple years, I love watching Mark and Trish and have learned a lot about RVing. I do have a two weeks in August that I will be going across country from Chicago to Gillette, WY for an International Pathfinders Camporee, and will be doing that with a Class A 32' Pursuit, and will be taking all the knowledge I got from Mark and Trish. Thank you guys for taking the time and effort to help us learn about RVing. 🙂
We are staying in this exact spot this week!! I kept thinking our fireplace was the same as yours! Do you even realize how cool this is? 😀 We ran into a couple at the dogpark that has an airstream and they are also followers of your channel.
Great video. Appreciated the thoughts on the air bags. It would be interesting to see you try out an air hitch like the Shocker or the Air Safe hitches. Reportedly, they make the bumps even less noticeable by allowing the truck and trailer to move a little more independently.
Those people are very kind at TOG. I stay there every summer. I celebrated birthdays with them, shared stories and just enjoyed their company over the years. Watch out for the bears! I have a picture somewhere of a bear outside my trailer!
I made a set of wooden benches that go between the front and rear seat i chose to slit the benches so that i can remove ione and have a passenger but for the most part my yellow lab has a full back seat to himself and if he desires can stand and place his head on our shoulders. with the benches in he has a 5x2.5 foot area to stretch out. We keep the benches and seat covered with moving blankets for comfort.
Add to your list….a meet up in Duluth, MN (guess I should check if you’ve already been there) but I would drive the 3 hours 🥰 If you have time, Split Rock lighthouse is pretty amazing and/or Glensheen Mansion is incredible, built in 1905-08 with craftsmanship of today and the furniture/ clothing/ dishes are all original, it’s worth a visit. Oh and Marc, we know the air horn is for Trish, no need to remind us 😂😂😂 Safe travels !
Yes!!! Please do a meet up in Duluth! Add the alpine slide in Lutsen and a visit to Palisade Head to your list as well. Oh, and World’s Best Donuts in Grand Marais!
We were at Anchor Down when you were there. We checked in on lots 28 and 29 the jumbos on the hill We were the two Montana's with black Chevy and Denali. We were hoping to catch you but you left before we could. Campin with the Confers were on that same spot last Sept. when we were there.
Great campground near Traverse City is Indigo Bluffs RV Resort in Empire MI. About 45 minutes away. Great scenery with Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park minutes from the campground. And some of the best sunsets on Lake Michigan. Tell them John and Terri ( Two Sheas Journey) sent you. You will love the resort side.
Finally after watching your travels and all I am pulling the trigger on a Lance 1575 to KMD. Thanks for all you do as I spent a few $ on your amazon site. Happy Trails!! We are now retired and will be on our way to keepmydream alive!
We use the seat extender with hard bottom (on Amazon) for our 90lb lab/husky mix. And then I just put her dog bed on top, and also use a seatbelt and attach it to her harness for added safety.
Have had on board air on our rig for years and thousands of miles. Love it. One of the best things I ever did. Also, you guys are passing just a few miles past us in NC twice!
Great video! We just got back from camping at the North Shore in Minnesota, Superior Lake is beautiful, lots of waterfalls, lighthouses were amazing. The night sky was gorgeous, lots of state parks and trails. It was a great trip ❤
Greetings from Polson, Montana. I learned about you from What the Hales. I subscribed today because of your bold testimony of your relationship with Jesus Christ.
Omg Mark had a Vineyard Vines tshirt on! Love that store. These videos are so good guys. Absolutely love seeing the everyday, quiet time, normalcy of life as empty nesters! Thank you for taking us along ! 🙏❤️
To help Charley get used to his new seat you can try this; go to a sporting goods store, in the hunting section get some clothes washing powder made by wildlife research and wash his new seat to get rid of the chemical odor. You might need a large rubber made container. Then take one of Marks sweaty T-shirts and put it in the seat. No chemical odor and a familiar scent!
I thought I would share how we modified the back seat area of my F-250 for our 2 Goldens (Henry & Brody). I bought 2 - 12 gal HDX Tough Totes and placed them behind the Driver and passenger seats; between the 2 totes I placed a 13" X 13" crate and had to fabricate a top cover. We placed a couple dog beds over the seat and totes and now our boys have the entire back seat as their travel area. Sadly, the youngest (Brody) takes his half out of the middle. I use the totes as additional storage (WIN - WIN).
Always such great videos! Yah air bags help the ride so much even with small amounts of air. If your truck has the overload leafs like mine if you hit bumps it hits them and makes the bumps very harsh the air takes that away.
Seen a few Oregon destinations in the comments. We have great cycling here from ocean to mountains to desert. A ride around Crater Lake is epic. Love your vids!
When you were airing up and down testing the bridges, you were a few miles from my house in God's country! We're lucky to live in such a beautiful place. Love the return of some of the classic tunes you've used before. Love the older indie stuff, but you have good taste regardless.
Just a little tip with the air bags...even if your not using them for load carrying you should at least keep a minimum of 5PSI in them so they don't do weird things like fold in strangely. Most air bag manufacturers recommend a minimum of 5 or 10PSI unloaded so they hold their shape.
The newer bags dont have that problem. They have stuff inside them to keep them in shape and not fold on themselfs causeing creases and weak spots. They have the good bags that dont need any air when not using. But your right the older style you have to be careful
That Airstream Park that be nice spot with the Airstream Trade Wind open up the back hatch take in the view How did you guys miss the no screen on the bedroom window on the checking it out before buying it just wonder
Top of Georgia was where we decided to join the Airstream Club because of the big discount they offer for members. Changed our life. Go to the water powered mill and get some great flour, pancake mix etc. It was Octoberfest-brats and kraut and dance the polka and waltz.
Good episode you do well expaining why the ideas we may have dont work, thanks for it may save us if we have the same situation , have most a blessed week!
Not sure when you’ll be in Door County, but if it is between late July-early August, a visit to one of the pick your own cherry orchards is highly recommended!
Hi you two. Hope Charlie feels better. My dog gets citipoint allergy shots. Nice because they are quick and last a couple months. She has had allergies her whole life. She is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Love seeing your adventures. Being on the lake was gorgeous. Sorry about the rain. It rains every single time we have gone camping. We usually just go to state parks 3-4 times a year. But yeah, rain at least one day and usually thunderstorms. We love our awning! PS We have airbags on our Tundra. Yeah, makes a difference. We do not porpoise like we used to.
I used to drive a 21 passenger bus and the air had to be adjusted constantly based on the weight for a more comfortable ride. Between 20 and 80psi is what was needed. Add 10psi at a time to determine best ride/feel. Keep RVing! Love your show!
Your videos always make me smile! Not sure what your plans are for Duluth, but heads up-There are a lot of biking opportunities in Duluth. You can even bike between Duluth and the Twin Cities all the way on bike trails!!! Very big bike culture in our great state of MN.when will you visit?
I can only suggest things in Indiana from experience: Indiana Beach - Located in Monticello, it is a great little amusement park with an amazing history. It's a one-day thing for most people to experience. Stay at the KOA or at Lost Acres around the corner. The actual Indiana Bech Campground is connected to the KOA and is owned by the same owner so you can go to both campgrounds without hassle, the KOA sites are just generally nicer and only handful of seasonals left at the KOA. Indiana State Parks: most of these state parks are amazing little gems with electric only. Very few have FHU, or even W/E sites. Some to consider are Pokagon, Potato Creek, McCormick, Turkey Run (AWESOME HIKING & RIVER FLOATING!), and Brown County. Brown County is famously known for its scenery and nicknames "The Little Smokies" due to the landscape. The town it sits by, Nashville, Indiana, is a great little, small town with an abundance of small shops, its own winery, and two great distilleries: Hard Truth and Bear Wallow. Bear Wallow is a small-time distillery while Hard Truth is massive. Both have great whiskey! Best part? The nightly price is around $35 for state parks! I've had friends go in MIchigan and they absolutely love the Petosky & Ludington area. From the pictures they sent me, Jellystone Park Petosky is amazing. Activities I can think of? horseback riding, boat cruise a major city, golfing, state/county fairs (everyone loves a deep-fried Oreo once in a while HAHA), comedy show, white water rafting or a jet boat ride up a river, and a hot air balloon ride.
Our collie, Quinn, who is about the same age and size as Charlie, gets the whole back seat in our truck. We have a hammock type back seat dog bed. We use seat belt that hooks onto a harness on Quinn and then into the seatbelt part that people hook their seatbelt into. The hammock takes up the entire back seat, because he's a big dog and needs to be able to move around a bit. There is even a mesh window where Quinn can see what we are doing up front.
I had Air Lift airbags in my Ram 1500 longhorn, and the mfg states to never drive with less than 5 lbs in them. It will shorten their lifespan, if not collapse them altogether. Now own a Ram 2500, and looking to add them, as the ride is a lot smoother towing a rig, and this one has a pretty stiff suspension. I also had issues backing into our hilly driveway, grounding out on the scissor lifts. Remove the air, problem solved. Great videos, you two!
My Sister and her husband (Linda and Will Moore) are members at the Airstream Campgrounds there in Helen. We are Dave and Sue, St Pete, FL, Grand Design, consistent viewers at KYD. We camp at Mountain View RV every Fall, it’s on the other side of the Mountain from Helen in Hiawassee, GA. Enjoy! I used to operate a Jewelry Store in the Don Ce Sar (big Pink) years ago., we live about 6 miles from there. Travel safe!🚌
I know how much effort goes into making an epic video week after week. And after all this time you have been making these videos, to still have the ability to sprinkle all that energy and magic into your videos. Much respect.
you're not kidding - it's a full time job but they really are one of my fav couples to watch.
Marc and Trish, it was a pleasure meeting you both and Charlie at Anchors Down, never did I or my wife ever expect to come across paths with you two. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Safe Travels.
My favorite part of the week is when the new KYD video is up. And glad to see the kid's are doing so well congratulations Tori getting married.

So much fun you mentioned driving the bird, we were just at the RV museum in Elkhart and explored the inside a couple days ago! Loved the decor.
The upholstery really did give us the idea to do RT66. A great season.
I LOVE the music on this episode. Great time lapse shots too.
What a beautiful rv park but most noticable is the love that radiates off you two.
Our trip will start in 5 days. We will fly in from Germany to Houston for a 3 weeks roadtrip in Texas. Not with an RV, but with a rental car and Motels, because we are not experienced in RVing. The very reason I specified air ride on my Ram 2500 Cummins. The auto leveling system is great ! Headlights stay on the road no matter the load.
I just love watching you guys enjoy this phase of your life.
Congratulations on 25 years!
Come up to Glacier area, Fly fishing, rafting. Some mountain biking, zipline on Big mountain. Great food beautiful views.
We are from NC and have a 1 year old English Cream retriever too. Tucker loves going camping. We bought what I refer to as a hammock (iBuddy car seat cover for $35) for Tucker and Winston (English bulldog) that covers the entire back seat of our F-250.

I should have been more careful for sure.
Happy Sunday everyone
Summer to remember.... Staying in our caravan near by our daughter because we are becoming grandparents for the first time this summer ❤
Love from the Netherlands, Daniëlle 🙋
"this is our time" segment was transcendent. You guys have become sooo good at what you do! Bravo! I hope to meet you on the road one day. If I ever get on the road, that is....
I never want this show to end!
We book anchors down two years in advance, to get in with a fireplace love this RUclips channel
I stopped watching for a while but have rekindled my love for your genuine enthusiasm about life on the road and sharing it with all of us. Thank you.
I love when y’all do this part of the country! ❤
Love seeing the empty nesters enjoy a great dinner on the Road! Trish is cooking up a marvoulous dinner for two Marc! Charlie looks happy!
Empty Nesters, has given a different vibe. You're really settling in, hope Charlie gets better, he is a bundle of joy❤🤠
As a long-time follower, it has been fun watching you raise your family on the road (especially through expressive Caleb’s eyes). Now thoroughly enjoying watching you two enjoying yourselves as empty nesters.
I used that same tape in the home depot for displays. It is the Best tape we sold. . A tiny roll is about 8 bucks, but worth it😊.
Nice to see you found some Warm Weather! Nice to see you able to relax in one place for awhile. That's what it should be.
So proud of my sweet little Helen GA! Anchor down is on the list… looks awesome!
Welcome to North Georgia! So glad you are here! Hope you enjoy yourselves and the warm weather! Safe travels!
Love that airstream park! It’s fabulous!
I tow my Jayco 26BH with a Ram 1500 Limited with 4-corner air suspension. Game changer! Go with air if you can, is my advise!

So refreshing to see what a month in the RV traveling around town to town is really like! Summer to Remember, while living your Best Life! 🤙🏼❤
I love these types of videos from you guys, just traveling and camping.
Great video. It's nice how you show the truth. Sometimes it rains and there is nothing you can do about it. Have an awesome week. 🙂

I could spend a week at Anchor Down in a heartbeat. Especially if the temps are good so I could be on the lake with my board.
As always so much fun watching. Glad Charlie is ok and give him a big hug for me. Stay safe out there. Love y'all
We use to go tubing in Helen, Ga. It was so much fun. Then we would have dinner before we left town.

Kong makes a very rugged bench seat cover. It has some storage and can be converted to a sling.
Love where you all are! Welcome to Georgia. Cheers!
If you are going to get all the way to Chelan, don't miss Stehekin Washington. We are blessed to live here, and it's an extraordinary place.
Anchor RV was beautiful and it looks like this Airstream park is too. How awesome to be able to listen to the creek and relax
I have used airbags on my trucks for 20 years. I recently started using Ping tanks as well. Only thing better would be full air suspension.
I thought I would share how we modified the back seat area of my F-250 for our 2 Goldens (Henry & Brody).
Great video. We are Airstream members and will find some clubs to stay at when we start at the end of June. Great idea!
Sometimes the plans you don’t expect are the ones you need the most! 😊
I'd love to stay in an Airstream park. That sounds fun. Thanks for your video!
Your trips get me all fired up!
LOVE Anchor Down, such a great place and especially to chill-ax like you two did. 👍
Love and look forward to your channel !!
I can only suggest things in Indiana from experience:
Indiana Beach - Located in Monticello, it is a great little amusement park with an amazing history.
Camp at the Kelly’s island state campground! It’s unbelievable!
Another fun and funky soundtrack. Always love the tunes. 🙂
Charlie for the win!
