As a player that got a 6 Bard roster i just stand in whatever attack the boss does because he can never break my shield. And i just keep guardian tune + wind of music on CD to keep my team mates always shielded. But this is a good guide for dpsers, avoid everything that makes damage.
hi question what kinder of bard is that is it a full Swiftness or Specialization bard of this i just need to ask that all i a bard player myself i most a specialization bard doing to i build up the bar a bit fast but i hear swiftness help with the cd a lot of a bard
If you have the right lvl 3 tripod equipped, it will block the first tornado that hits you. (assuming the buff is still on you, its not a long duration)
Hey Aiyu great video! I was wondering if Guardian Tune’s wind of protection prevents any one of valtan’ attacks from pushing your team off? I’m a bit confused as to what it protects you from. Thanks in advance!
Nope. It protects from CC Debuffs, which are effects that make you lose control of your character. That's stun/freeze/fear/earthquake/sleep/imprison. There's nothing you can do about people getting pushed off, they need to use their own Push Immunity/Super Armor skills for that.
@@Aiyulol oh thanks for the reply. Even stuff like using sonic vibration and rhapsody to be push immune to the mech with heavy armour engraving? Will check out your twitch vods later
@@Aric368 Yeah, for sure, hard does more damage but with Heavy Armor it's not like you'll get one shotted or anything. You can always guardian tune or wind of music to soak some of it.
Quick question - why are you not running the prelude of storm? I thought it was one of the bard's core skills that you cannot replace as It helps a lot with generating identity meter.
It's not something you can NEVER replace, but for the clips in P1 - I should have used it instead of Buckshot (because there's no counter mech for wolves). The answer is I was just lazy to change my build.
8:16 You can actually tank both of the hits here with Balthor buff. Balthor buff will only end with time (30sec I think).

I am maining support. I am currently saving to purchase engraving books for my Bard. Is there an engraving book that a support and dps will use?
DPS and supports don't share engravings. Some DPS use Awakening (Wardancer/Soulfist) but usually they don't use a book slot for it.

I'm spec in this video but I would recommend swiftness, it's better in almost all situations over spec.
how you tell the difference between the counter silence and either hit inner outer attack. both look the same
Before the in/out pattern you get briefly silenced. For the 3x counter pattern he just lifts his axe and charges it.

What kind of debuff does the guardian tune tripod protects you from? It doesn't work on Yoho's tornadoes when I pre-cast it and get hit by a tornado.

Yes, it protects from all CC (loss of control) effects like Tornado. It will only block one tornado, and the buff only lasts 8s.

Best Armor for Valtan? I would assume Demon Beast 6 piece is the way to go but not sure.
Bards don't need any legendary gear from Valtan, check the guide in the description for the details. You just go for Yearning at 1445.
How do you get your party UI to look like that?
There are a few buttons near the party UI you can do to change the layout. Play around with them! I'll also be releasing a settings video soon.
