      Hi Jim,
I learned that Harness mindfulness that you talk about has
reinforced it with me. We used to sing songs of foreign languages if we
wanted to learn a language at school!
Also as you mention you're passionate about Alzheimer's.
My mother, who I'm her carer, has Vascular Dementia since
2016 & early into her 'brain fog' (I am a musician) was finding
ways of helping her with music/dance & singing.
Mum seems to know all the words of her fav songs actually better
      than me often!?
Mum has become bed bound 2 yrs ago, although I am living with
her everyday & mum has gone over the life expectancy as the average
is 5 years! I read a book on Stephen Hawking as he can't exercise though
he went over 40 years past what the Drs told him.
Is there anything I can do with her to bring her brain improve as I have
studied on music power & Immanuel Kant calls music the 'quickening art'!
If you can I will practice it with her,
      Much appreciated

After a coma, I sleep for just 5 to 6 hours a day, and that's perfect for me. I stay mindful whenever I can. I always learn new things everyday through reading physical books. My drinks everyday are water and milk only. I exercise when I wake up and before lunch too. My coma saved me, you could say

People forget other peoples names because they don't pay attention, If you simple repeat the name, ask how it's spelled, you'll note if it's what you expected or if it is surprising which then is a conversation piece which will help you remember that person and their name. Plus you can associate their name with another person you know with the same name, I love your tactics Jim because our brain is far more malleable than we are taught and we can regrow new path ways in the brain if we use it. like you have proven without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you for all you do, I admire your work!

"Wow, what an insightful video on keeping our minds sharp at any age! I truly appreciate Jim Quick's expertise and practical tips. The acronym 'SHARP' simplifies complex concepts into actionable steps. The emphasis on quality sleep, mindfulness, continuous learning, proper hydration, and physical exercise is a holistic approach that resonates with me. I am grateful for the reminder that our minds are like muscles that need consistent exercise and care. Jim's engaging presentation style makes it enjoyable to absorb these essential insights. Thank you, Jim, for sharing your wisdom and empowering us to take control of our cognitive well-being! 🙏🧠

0:53 Digital Dementia is real especially for those born after 2000, their lack of focus and remembering things is greatly impaired. They rely on Google and social media as their information and memory umbilical cord.

@JimKwik: Is dementia preventable? During childhood, how easy it was to remember whole of the book and could easily recall... can we have similar brain functionality for rest of life, irrespective of age? If there is memory impairment, can we still recover it?
