As an indian , I can confirm that Indian Smokes and drink way less than the rest of the world,but thats not because of MODI , its due to our Religion, Hinduism prohibits Smoking,Alcohol, gambling and other stupid acts.

As an Egyptian, I assume one of the main reasons Egypt is red at 23:07 is because of Egypt hating Israel and Israel having ties with the US. It's more indirect but idk that's just me
Incase you are interested, Britain invaded Russia during the Crimean War(1853-1856). But didn’t fully occupy it, as it wasn’t a standard practice during that time. And also during the Russian Civil War, British volunteers fought for the Anti Communist white army, but still, no full occupation. The map seems to show countries that were at war with the UK at some point in their history. So, Czechia for instance, is shown as red because it was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire, who were at war with Britain during ww1. Not because the British actually invaded a European country established in the 90s.
