I enjoy OTwithDA every morning on my way to work. It’s a great way to start my day and has brought me to a better understanding of our God’s character. The supplemental videos have been a HUGE blessing to me. I have learned so much. I have read two of J Peckham’s books but this video really helped shape my understanding of the Cosmic Conflict. So very sad for Moses but God had something better for his faithful service. He missed the promised land but went to the heavenly instead. God is so amazing!
My word was impatient. This chapter was hard for me because an incident at work happened where I almost did the same thing that Moses did in making a rash and quick decision. I'm truly a sinner in need of a Saviour.
Point - to first point us to Christ, the source of all spiritual sustenance, then to show the dangers of misusing His power by inserting ourselves into the picture, and then to reorient us at the end with a call to spiritual accountability and surrender to the power of Christ. Person - front God flow all things that pertain to life and godliness and when we drink of him we become partakers of the divine nature. Practice - to live every day in humble surrender to God and to be lead by his spirit. Prayer - I Surrender All Promise - “and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ. No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.” I Corinthians 10:4, 13 NKJV WORD - WILL
