The key to waking up at 5 am is going to bed early, for someone like me who has always been a night owl, going to bed earlier is the hardest thing. You will be tired in the beginning because you have to train your body to fall asleep earlier so it will take a few weeks to get used to it.

Thankfully, I usually don't need to go to bed early but I know everyone's different. For me, I can go to bed at 10 PM and be asleep by 10:30 PM and get a solid 6 1/2 hours of sleep which is more than enough for me (I function best on 6 to 7 hours, 5 1/2 to 6 in summer, if I get 8 it gives me too much energy, I do sometimes go to bed at 9:30 PM to be asleep by 10 PM and sleep in until 6 AM for special occasions like New Year's Eve so I can be up late, but 361 days out of the year I'm asleep by 10:30 PM). I did go to bed at 7 PM to 7:30 PM for awhile when I was trying the 2 AM morning wake up routine. It took me two weeks to realize that 2 AM was overkill.
I’ve tried everything, this does not work for a majority of people. Too many factors. I wish it was that easy.

I love waking up at 6 AM. Going to make my coffee and bring it right back to bed and I sit in bed for a good 45 minutes all cozy, sipping my coffee and then I’m ready to start my day lol. ❤❤

I woke up today at 4:01 AM, felt awesome! Yesterday I slept in until 5:23 AM, but it was Sunday, so that's okay (I think). I usually go to bed right after 10 PM then asleep by 10:30 PM (last night I conked out five minutes after getting in bed), so I generally get a solid 6 hours of sleep per night. I seem to work great on 6 hours, sometimes 7 hours in winter to really recharge. 8 hours ends up making it so I can't get to sleep the following night until almost 11 PM, or even later, so I often try to get 8 hours before New Year's Eve so I'm good for staying up past midnight (it's okay to have a few exception days, I allow myself four, New Year's Eve, Christmas Eve, July 4th, and my birthday, but New Year's is the only one I stay up past 12:30 AM). Usually my morning wake up time is between 4 AM and 5 AM in summer and 5 AM and 5:45 AM in winter. But sometimes I sleep in until 6 AM and sometimes (especially in summer) I'm up before 4 AM. I love the little bit of "me" time in the morning, but I still have social life on Friday and Saturday evenings (I live in a tiny town of 800, the "big city" around here has like 2500 people, so nothing's open late, so for me "staying out late" means being home by 9:30 PM. Generally we do our girls night out between 6 PM and anywhere from 8 PM to 8:30 PM).
Funny story, I tried a 2 AM morning wake up routine once. Physically I was okay, going to bed at 7 PM took its toll, though, I missed my friends. Early on I loved all the hours of "me" time and even briefly considered trying an 11 PM "morning" wake up routine (yes, you read that right). Thankfully I went back to my regular 4 AM to 6 AM timespan. It's nice to meet you, I'm Victoria!
What I do in the morning is when I wake up I count down from 30 and get out right when I say 1

I have to leave for work at 6:30 winter times and 5:45 summer time, so I kinda have to wake up at 5 am or even a bit earlier for I want to have a morning. But I am naturally a super morning person, I gladly really don’t struggle with it.

A problem I have is I watch tv and fall asleep while watching tv because I have intense insomnia and without the tv I just lie there and can’t fall asleep

the create a small vision board just for when you go to wake up in the morning is such a good idea. Cause when I wake up in the morning I don't need to be seeing all the nighttime and larger goals all in my face too, just having a simplified one with a yummy breakfast, the gym, a cute workout set, a morning drive, and some ice water and an ice roller will be just what I need in the morning. Already started on mine!

My motivation for getting up at 5 AM is because the gym is empty. Lol I take more than a recommended dose of melatonin so I can go to sleep or at least try. I have anxiety so it’s very hard for me.

I practically always use 1-2 snoozes of 5 minutes, that's why I set the alarm earlier, concidering those snoozes. And when I snooze I don't go back to sleep fully, I just rest my eyes and expect the next alarm, slowly becoming more awake

I'm glad I have a job that runs from 8 AM to 4 PM (some days 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM), it gives me a little bit of extra morning time. I wake up anywhere from 4 AM to 5:30 AM most mornings (sometimes as late as 6 AM in winter, usually closer to 4 AM in summer). I actually tried a 2 AM morning wake up routine once. Physically I was okay but after two weeks I began to become depressed due to a lack of social life and coming home from work and eating dinner and going straight to bed. Funnily enough I briefly even considered an 11 PM "morning" wake up routine once. Glad I didn't try that. 2 AM was overkill, 11 PM is so early that it almost can't be called "early" anymore.

It’s unsustainable for me, but it’s routine for her, so her body clock might start to wake her up at this time even without an alarm.
It's different for every person. I naturally wake up between 4 AM and 6 AM. Maybe I'm weird, I dunno. Sleeping in until 7 AM is exceptionally rare for me, I only do it in situations where I need lots of extra sleep (like the first and last day of my week-long beach vacations in summer). I tried a 2 AM wake up time once, for me that was unsustainable but 4 AM to 6 AM is natural for me as is going to sleep by 10:30 PM. And then you have my boyfriend who has a sleep disorder called non-24 where his body doesn't take natural day-night cues. Poor guy, wish I knew how to help, but he says he had it his whole life and is okay with it.

There are ways to not feel stressed but if your whole circumstances is against you no matter how motivated you are you are gonna feel stressed . I personally recommend going to small walks outside . It is a mood changer
Here's an idea DON'T WAKE UP AT 5 AM... I work at 4 am and I promise you, you can still be productive if you wake up at 7am :) SLEEP IN. Stop letting society make you think you're only productive if you wake up super early.
