The Internet is far more than a place for outrage and shitstorm. Together we can make a difference. The Internet veteran John Korten is convinced: of prime importance for that is a recognizable attitude, an identity, and to be sure both an individual and a collective one. Our attitude enables us to repeatedly activate people on the Internet, to do good and to get involved. The TEDxKoeln talk will show how it can be achieved, and what conditions are needed for it.
Johannes Korten felt he was always online. In the existential world he was the father of two children, jazz lover, chocolate cake baker and keen cyclist. Professionally, for nearly nine years, he put his talents at the disposal of a great social-ecological bank for which he worked as a brand marketing manager.
Johannes Korten took his own life in June 2016.
