    I got a question. So does does it form water bubbles on the outside ??

      If the relative humidity is high enough it might, but even the colder packs with phase change at 59F are much warmer than a glass of icewater. If the dew point is 65F, condensation will be driven by the 6F temp difference, vs more than 30F against actual ice. So, maybe, but not much.

      It's just a material that freezes and thaws in order to absorb heat. The only special things about them are the freezing temperature being high enough to not freeze the tissue and the ability to absorb a large amount of heat over a longer period of time.
      Pretty much anything that melts will do it, it's just that most of the time the melting point isn't suitable, or they don't absorb enough heat to be useful.

      @@SmallSpoonBrigade freezing is endoenergetic, but not get your point. I also saw PCMs that work based on hydration of certain salts

      @triggerhappydad65 this is ironic cause I bought a cooling vest to wear under my fursuit. It kinda helps but it can only do so much

      Have you suited while wearing one? I almost keeled over at AC 2 years ago because of the heat. Fans in my head were NOT helping.
